Black Bean and Couscous Salad

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
What a delicious recipe!! Keeps well in the refrigerator, and gets better as it sits. I'm not crazy about green onions, so I used much less than it calls for, and only 1 can of beans and it still turned out great. Really a flavorful, healthy dish that I'll make again soon!

Cheesecake wrapped strawberries

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
OHHH my goodness!!! These are heavenly!! I followed the recipe exactly, and they came out perfectly. I was expecting to have trouble spreading the cheesecake on them, but after the first one, I got the hang of it and it was easy peasy! I don't think I'll go back to plain chocolate covered strawberries.. These were far too fabulous! Thank you Sweettreats for an incredible recipe! LOVE it! :)

Coconut Walnut Biscotti

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
First time making biscotti, and I am so impressed with how these turned out! They are incredible.. Coconut flavor is just right. I did use almonds, and I think they pair perfectly with the coconut. Next time I'll take more time rolling the log, so they all come out the same size.. Mine weren't the prettiest ;) But still wonderful! This is truly a delightful and easy recipe that I'll be making all summer! (oh, and I drizzled with white chocolate, but they are great without it)

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
Oh my goodness. These are AMAZING!! I love that the ingredients are all basic and easy to throw together, and it took no time to whip up a batch of these. They smelled so good while baking, and they taste even better! I only had to bake mine for around 12 minutes.. but probably because my oven is crazy ;) Thank you Dianne for such a YUMMY treat!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
Adorable and awesome! They are much easier to dip when they have been chilling in the refrigerator for a several hours. I drizzled them with white chocolate and put them in truffle boxes to give as gifts to my friends and family who hosted my baby shower. Everyone loved them! So delicious :)

Coconut Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
I used this recipe to make about 22 standard size cupcakes and they were fluffy and moist. I did think it tasted mostly like yellow cake, even after adding coconut pudding (instead of vanilla) and coconut extract to the icing. I'll be making this again, and will try white cake mix instead of the yellow. Overall, this is a good recipe. Easy to throw together, and wonderfully moist.

Egg-White Crepes

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
Absolutely delicious! And actually healthy! The fillings/fruit possibilities are endless with these. I didn't put the oil in but used 2 tsp of applesauce like someone else suggested. GREAT recipe!!!

Chili I

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Great basic chili, and easy to throw together. I replaced a can of kidney beans with a can of pinto beans. I think next time I'll add more seasonings, and will use less of the crushed tomatoes. Still a good recipe, just needs a little tweaking.

Angel's Chunky Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Just what I was looking for! Simple ingredients, nothing too fancy. I used chicken breasts that I boiled the day before, and didn't add any onion to the mixture. This was delicious!

No-Guilt Zesty Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
We LOVED this! Really a nice dip, and I love that I can snack on it and not feel bad about it. I didn't change anything in the recipe, and will definitely be making it again soon. :) Thanks Tat!

Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
First time to ever make biscuits from scratch, and these turned out wonderfully. They were very moist and fluffy. I had to use regular milk, but they were still great!

Quick Caribbean Quesadillas

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
These were soooo good! I had to use apricot-pineapple preserves (couldn't find just pineapple) and I made my own honey mustard. I didn't measure anything, but I'm pretty sure I used more of the pineapple mixture and cheese than what it calls for. These aren't for everyone, but we thoroughly enjoyed all the flavors in this dish :)

Simple 'N' Delicious Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I used this recipe to make cupcakes, and it made 12 exactly. Moist and delicious.. Possibly the best cake recipe I've made from here so far. I changed nothing about the recipe except the cooking time (cupcakes only took about 20 min), and the results were fabulous. I topped with Satiny Chocolate Glaze.. but this cake really doesn't need anything on top. I'll be making this one again very soon!

Gooey Chip Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Quick, so easy, gooey, and good! I left out the nuts, and added a few white chocolate chips on top. (Next time I won't, the semisweet chocolate chips are enough!) Baked for around 22 minutes, and they seemed to be just right :)

Rich Chocolate Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Yes, these are definitely RICH when you include the frosting. The brownies alone are moist and have just the right amount of chocolatey sweetness.. However, the frosting made them almost a little too sweet, even for me. But still, a very easy and basic recipe that I will most likely make again. If you have a major sweet tooth, these are for you ;)

Dilly Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
Such a delightful sandwich in the middle of winter.. I used quite a bit of fresh dill (we love dill!), and added more lemon juice than the recipe called for. I also used wheat bread instead of french. The cream cheese spread is really delicious and adds something special to this chicken sandwich. I'll be making this one again.

White Chocolate Blondies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
After reading several mixed reviews, I almost didn't make these. But I'm glad I did, because they turned out fantastic! I did use white chocolate chips instead of the semi-sweet.. Just because hubby prefers white. Other than that, everything stayed the same. Time and temp were perfect for me and they fit nicely into a 11x7 pan. Thanks Jenn :)

Apple Raisin Cakes

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
I must admit that I was not expecting too much from these.. but I was really impressed once I tried one! They aren't overly sweet, and I liked that about them. VERY filling and perfect for breakfast. I served with just a sprinkle of confectioner's sugar. If you are looking for a healthy, low-sugar breakfast, these won't disappoint you. :)

Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
I have made this with fresh ingredients, as well as frozen and canned. No matter what, it is always amazing! Hearty, healthy, and very filling. I've used a can of Rotel to take the place of the jalapeno if I don't have one. I can't say enough good things about this recipe!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could :)
