Eggnog Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
While not a fancy looking cookie, the taste is absolutely awesome. My family loved them!! Upped the eggnog a little and decreased the nutmeg only slightly. (Note that nutmeg is notorius for overpowering a recipe, esp if it's good quality and a fresh new jar - so go can always add more). I iced them with eggnog frosting to dress them up for a cookie exchange, but they were delicious on their own.

Chinese Cocktail Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Awesome! My whole family loved these. I used the KitchenAid mixer with dough hook to mix and knead and it was very easy. The coconut filling was so tasty and my kids and I had fun learning how to work with a fresh coconut - btw one coconut yeilds enough coconut to double this recipe. When I mixed the filling it was very crumbly rather than creamy so I added a tiny bit of milk to cream it up. Note that the filling does not end up gooey like an eclair - it's drier - and oh so good!

Best Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
Great stroganoff! Makes plenty of sauce to accomodate 2 pounds of beef. My growing boys loved this and even the picky 2 year old ate it. I was in the mood for rice and they were great together.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
SO fantastic. Made them the old fashioned way - without a bread machine. Cut the risen dough in half and made 12 out of each half (24 total) so they were smaller. Worked fine and feels a little less decadent when eaten! Definitely flip them upsidedown when finished so you don't lose the yummy goo.

Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2007
Excellent! I've been looking for a sweet, dense, not-crumbly corn bread and this is it! I did add a little more sugar as suggested in other reviews.
