These were spot on and AMAZING!!! This isn't my go-to site for recipes, but I figured I'd try it. I'm not even one to review unless the outcome blows me away. So here I am.....and not only am I reviewing, but I even caved and set up an account because I wanted to review this so badly :) Anyway...Perfection! I was a bit nervous at first because my milk did slightly desperate, but I also know that I'm using whole milk, and if its close to expiring, it has a tendency to do that. I set out my milk and egg for about a half hour so it wasn't cold. I also only had salted butter, so I eliminated the salt called for. Mixed up dry, (fluffed my flour before measuring) mixed up wet, and slowly whisked the liquid into to dry. Once all the liquid was poured in, I gave it 3 nice stirs and let it sit while I set the table and got the kids cleaned up (about 10 mins). Then I just used a 1/3 c measure and poured it in the pan, and spread it a touch. Heaven!! Ate the first one, then added a few chocolate chips to each after pouring the batter in the pan.....I can't get enough! Thank yout for a staple, and with our family, (myself, hubby, and 2 boys) we needed a double batch. Thank you!!!! I really think other's troubles are measuring the flour, and touching\mixing too much. We had no vinegar taste, and didn't add any vanilla either. Wonderful.
