Creme Brulee French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2004
This was a huge hit at my son's baptism brunch! I didn't bother to remove the crusts and substituted amaretto for the brandy. There were no leftovers and plenty of requests for the recipe!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Great recipe but be sure to follow previous comments and increase eggs to six and use some spicy/hot sausage for more kick.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
Fabulous recipe, takes a lot of abuse and still comes out great. I've made it a few times and now mix the marinade ingredients in the bottom of a glass baking dish (I also prefer to add a T of melted butter) and add the fish flesh down for about 30 minutes and then bake with tin foil over the baking dish. So easy and delicious.

English Royalty Chocolate Chip Scones

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
Be sure to increase OJ! I used about 8T. I also shaped into two rounds and scored before baking - much easier and still delicious.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

I don't know where all the rave reviews came from... tasted a bit like butterscotch and was very moist but certainly wasn't worth the effort.

Lamb Stew with Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2005
Some lamb and some green beans and a lot of broth. I didn't really taste the seasonings and I followed the recipe exactly. Won't be making this again.

I used the creamy dressing and it is a great meal when there isn't much time for prep.

We love sweet potatoes but didn't love this recipe. Odd sauce - too greasy.

Parmesan Chicken I

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2005
There is a lot of butter in this recipe and, as many previous reviewers state, the rice is very "mushy" and the chicken dries out. It is easy to put together but will not make it again.

Fantastic. Next time I will follow other reviewers suggestions and make with applesauce instead of oil and I'll likely add nuts.

Very greasy even when drained. A fair amount of work for an ok result.

Wonderful and so easy! I used a smaller pot roast but still made the same amount of gravy and added some veggies and potatoes for a great and easy meal!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2005
The muffins were a five but overall I had to give the recipe a four since there was about twice as much crumb topping as needed and you need to be sure to place your muffin tin on a cookie sheet to prevent spills in your oven!

Cake Mix Cookies V

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2005
pretty blah. I will say they were easy to make. I used butterscotch chips instead of raisins so they will still get eaten but I won't waste a cake mix on these again.
