This was soooo good and comfort food all the way. My husband and I loved it. It is also Very filling. I did add more butter than the recipe called for. The constistency did not look right until I added more butter. Thank you for the great recipe!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
This was a big hit at the Super bowl party. Next time I will use fresh tomatoes instead of the canned. I think it would be better. I served it with the blue corn chips and the presentation was great!

Basil Tomato Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
This was ok, I don't think it was all that special. Probably won't make it again just cause it was not very exciting....it was also a little to saucy and soupy for my familys taste.

Ann's Sister's Meatloaf Recipe

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
This was my first meatloaf I made and It was very simple. I did omit the MSG and used salt instead and I think that the meatloaf was a little too salty. I don't know if this happenes with every meatloaf, but when mine was done, there was about 3" high of grease in the loaf pan....kinda gross but it was a very tasty. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and used ketchup instead of the tomato sauce. I will make again, but with less salt.

Pork Roast with Thyme

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
very good, but it turned out too dry for me. The bed of bay leaves was definately vy creative and added great flavor.

Buffalo Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
very tasty. It was a little too much hot sauce for me but My husband LOVED it! I would rather make them into smaller little bite sized ones and serve them for an appetizer. Still a very good recipe

Very good...and simple! I don't know why I would ever buy pre made enchilada sauce when I have this recipe!

I don't even want to give this one star. I wish I could have posted a picture of my family's face when they ate this. I guess that is what you get...I thought the recipe sounded funny!

Lemon Thyme Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
Just ok...I rather would have made Rice a Roni. The Thyme was too much. It overpowered the dish

Roasted Rosemary Chicken And Vegetables

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
This was yummy...but it did not blow me away. Very fresh and healthy. I added more garlic to the recipe and omitted the carrots. I also substituited zuchinni for the eggplant since my husband hates eggplant. It turned out great. I think that it would have been a 5 star if it were to be marinated a little longer...but I will make this one again!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2005
Oh My ...this was sooooo good! My entire family loved it and normally when I make a dish this large, I have to freeze the other half...not with this one! Everyone took it to work the next day for leftovers. This is definately a repeat recipe. My husband is already asking when I will make it again!

Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
Oh, this recipe was amazing! Some other reviewers noted that there was not too much flavor so I made sure that I added seasoned salt and Mrs dash to the recipe and the beef. I also added onion. My husband loved it so much he took the rest to work the next day for lunch...which never happens!

Reuben Hot Dish

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2004
This recipe was so so. I love reubens but this recipe needed more corned beef. plus, the noodles were still crunchy in some spots and I even cooked it longer than the recipe called for. Too much mustard, and not enough rye bread on top. I think that it would be better if the noodles were pre cooked, more beef and rye bread, and less mustard. I will try to make it again though with the adjustments! :-)

Ground Beef Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2004
This recipe was very tasty and pretty easy to make. The only gripe that I had about it is the bottom meat layer would not really stick together and it was a bit runny...even though I drained the fat from the meat. My husband enjoyed it and I will make it again!

Beefy Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2004
Yummy! The only gripe that I had was that the rice was a bit mushy. I did add the vegetable juice instead of water like some of the other reviews suggested. But, this recipe had great flavor!! I will make it again
