Maple Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
These are very good. I only put in half the brown sugar because we really don't like cookies that are sweet sweet sweet. I also put in a teaspoon of cinnamon for a little extra flavour.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
These were very good and stayed together well. Plus they were easy to turn over and then take out of the pan. The meatballs did not stick at all. I gave them a 4 out of 5 only because I added a few of my own spices and a quarter of a cup of onion too. I thought the way the recipe was, it would have been boring and bland. With the couple of changes of spice, they turned out very well, and passed the husband food critic test.

Cinnamon Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This was very good. I like the white sugar idea because it was not as sweet as brown sugar. This would be a great breakfast starter, or snack. There was just the right amount of cinnamon.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
This recipe is very good. My husband says these muffins are the best I've made. I make these with or without the poppyseeds. Actually, I make one minor change, though. I put in the lemon juice right in the batter and leave out the last little bit of sugar. I do not glaze the muffins afterwards. They are very good that way with a lot of lemon taste.

Cinnamon Teacake

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2007
This was very good and very easy to make. I used another reveiwer's suggestion and used all purpose flour with baking soda and salt. It was a very nice cake, one I could use for breakfast or for an evenning snack.

Thick Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars because I did make a couple of changes. I only put in 1\2 cup sugar so it wouldn't be too too sweet. I also did it over the stovetop rather than in a microwave. It takes a little longer, but i felt it came out better and nicely mixed. It was delicious with a little cool whip on top. I could eat the whole thing at once.

Cinnamon Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2007
These cookies were great. Everyone loved them. My husband couldn't get enough of them and wants me to make more. I put in only half the sugar it called for to make them not overwhelmingly sweet. Only haff the sugar also brought out the taste of the cinnamon even more

Mushroom Crusted Ham and Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
That was so good! I used chicken instead of ham. I added a few more spices and cooked the mushrooms and onions in oil instead of margerine. I also did not use the hot pepper sauce. It was delicious. I will use this recipe again but not too often because it is very fatty, but one can treat themselves once in a while.

Quick Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2005
It was ok, but not the greatest. I added a little milk to make it creamy. I found it very salty and did not think the macaroni dinner mixed well at all with the soup.

Rapid Mix Sweet Dough

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
This recipe is GREAT! My husband loved it. I devided the dough into small rolls and let rise. I did not refridgerate at all. I just punched down the dough and let rise again and then baked them for 12 minutes. I will use this recipe again.
