Hi Everyone,

I'm a graduate student working with a spice company for my thesis project, which is a full-scale marketing research study. My project pertains to online purchases of food-based products. I have several questions in which I wish to collect responses.

If you could submit a brief answer, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

I am with Tinag. I look on AR and google. A lot of the time I combine recipes I find. I also like Food In Jars blog for new but safe canning recipes.

AR and various blogs for recipes. I am looking into purchasing some bulk foods (beans, wheat gluten for seitan) online either on Amazon or via a bulk food distributor, but I can't find a decent price on black beans. I would like to match or beat $1/lb. with shipping.

Epicurious, Bon Appetit, Sunset, Saveur and AllRecipes are my standard go to sites. I do go to and BH&G as well as LHJ on occasion. I also have some standard ethnic food sites that I go to for recipes of that specific type of food. is one I use for Thai food. I have bought many things from them.

The Nourishing Gourmet, Healthy Home Economist, Cheeseslave, and all the healthy food bloggers. AR is mainly good for ingredient searches, and recipes that are usually too mainstream to be healthy, but work if you alter them. Other inspirations come from Food network, Epicurious, Pinterest, and Martha Stewart.
