Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
This recipe is really easy to make. I served it with some potato wedges. It tasted better the next day. I took some to work and the aroma after warming it up fill up the office and everybody wanted some. I gave the recipe to my mother to fix and she said it was so good that needed to fix it more often. This is a keeper

Slow Cooker Chili II

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
I love this chili recipe. You can adjust the heat(spicy-wise) to this. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef. I used one 29oz can of tomato puree and one can of petite diced tomatos. I put everything in the slow cooker the night before and let it cook on low for an extra hour and half than what the recipe asked for.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2006
This was so delicious that I want back seconds. I added a pound and half of shrimp and extra teaspoon of fresh garlic. I will definitely add this one to my menu lineup for Sunday Dinners.

Honey Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
I never heard of ribs being cooked in a slow cooker before until I read this recipe and tried it. I started the slow cooker on High for about an hour, then cooked it on low for 6 hours. The ribs came out very tasty and the meat was fallinf of the bone. I used Honey Hickory Barbeque sauce instead of regular Honey Barbeque for a smokey taste. I went back for seconds. My brother says I should make this more often.

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
I love collard greens. I followed the recipe but I added some mustard greens to it and "OH MY GOODNESS" they came so flavorful. My family eat the greens like they never had green before. I will make this part of my Sunday dinners line up.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2006
I like this recipe. I made oven fried chicken before but it was not crispy like this one. I followed the recipe to a T and my family loves it. A major plus is no scrubbing the stovetop to remove the excess of grease that pops out of the pan.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
I like this recipe alot. I used chicken fryer parts, I thought it may come out on the "ukky" side because I did not use a whole chicken, instead it came out juicy and lot of flavor. I will use this recipe again. Next time I will try to use a whole chicken to see the difference between the whole chicken and chicken pieces.

Blueberry Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
This cake is outstanding! I added extra blueberries. My family says they can smell the aroma in the hallway near the elevators. My co-workers ate half the cake within 15 minutes after setting it out. I took some my mother's, let just say, that I'm lucky to bring 1/2 slice home. I will definitely make it again and again.

Banana Cake X

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
I LOVE this recipe. The cake came out really moist. I served this with some vanilla ice cream. I took some to work for my co-workers. Let just say there wasn't a crumb left. I gave this recipe to my mother and she can't wait to try it out for herself. I will definitely make this again and again.

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
I love this recipe. I could not find 16 ounce cans of peaches in a heavy syrup, but instead I used 1-15 ounce can and a 30 ounce can of peaches in a heavy syrup and it came out perfect. I only had a corner left after my family went back thirds.

Honey Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
I like this recipe. I made this dish for a holiday potluck luncheon. Everyone loved the sweetness and it was moist. I add little water to avoid the chicken sticking to the pan and drizzle little more honey on the chicken in the midst of baking time.
