Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
I love how versatile the recipe can be. The name itself sounds interesting and it is a quiche. I used half the butter and i added chopped garlic to the onion. I gave the garlic and onion a quick fry and set it aside. And yes, I drained the water off from the spinach, I thought that was pretty common sense. I am not sure if one egg can bind all the ingredients together, I just don't like the idea of an eggy dish. I hope to make it again using different kind of cheese (feta, maybe) and more vegetables like cherry tomatoes, watercress and turkey bacon.

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
This recipe is simple and easy to follow. I used vegetable shortening and it turns out well. The first tortilla I made, it came out a bit stiff. So I let the dough rest for atleast 30minutes and the second tortilla came out perfect, it was soft and chewy! Is it safe to store the remaining dough in a fridge for a week? How about in a freezer?
