World's Best Lasagna

Great recipe! I made this for the first time, and everyone in the family loved it. I will definitely make it again! I made some revisions, which made the dish so much better. I used mild Italian sausage, instead of the sweet. The mild sausage had quite a bit of seasonings, including fennel and red pepper flakes, so I did not add those. I added 1cup fine chopped onion and 3 cloves of garlic. Two tbsp. brown sugar ilo white, fresh basil. The salt was way too much, as others have stated here. The sauces added have plenty of salt in them. Taste, and then add if needed. I added 1tsp. There was also no olive oil in this recipe, as included in many similar recipes. My mom always added olive oil, so I added 1/4 c. This not only gives wonderful flavor, but also prevents the lasagna from becoming too dry. I increased the basil and parsley to triple the amount listed. I did use more fresh grated Parmesan(not the powdered version in the can) and mozzarella. The result was an amazing, delicious, authentic dish! Love it!

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

I followed this basic recipe with some changes. The sauce was not enough for this recipe, and was not flavorful enough for my taste. I had to embellish it. I added a lot more soy sauce, corn starch, teriyaki sauce and I also added Tonton brand Hibachi steak sauce. This gives the sauce a good flavor. I didn't have the rice wine, so I added a fine drinking sherry(not cooking sherry), and honey for sweetness. I added more veggies: sliced onions, mushrooms, water chestnuts and broccoli. The picture shows mushrooms in the dish, however does not specify it in the ingredients. Instead of the vegetable oil (which I do not use), I substituted it with sesame oil, which adds so much flavor. I guess I did add and change up the recipe to my taste, but everyone's taste is different, so often times the recipe may need tweaking to one's liking. The reason some people add to the recipe
