Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

Very good although I will agree with the other users that they are basically a creamier pumpkin pie square... they don't taste like cheesecake at all. I still am not disappointed. I love them!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

This was absolutely wonderful. Not a complaint but to me it was just like a peach pie but in a 13x9x2" pan. I did make a couple modifications. I did double the crust in case there wasn't enough. Next time I will do one and a half times... double was too much. I did 1/2 cup of OJ and 2 T of cornstarch per others recommendations. It was still a soupy mixture so I used a slotted spoon to remove the peaches and then poured over about half of the juice mixture. The crust also doesn't need nearly as much of the egg/water mixture. I just used enough to hold the dough together. I think the excess liquid in the crust in why others have had so much trouble rolling out the dough. I also refrigerated it for about an hour before rolling. It actually came out just like the picture so I was very impressed as were the people I served it to. Definitely a keeper!

Apple Crisp II

I made this apple crisp for friends we had for dinner last night and it was the perfect fall dessert. I left out the water as suggested and am so glad I did.. The apples produce enough juice. I recommend making 1 1/2 times the recommended topping. So yummy and will definitely go in my permanant recipe box.

Cherry Cheese Pie II

Tiramisu Layer Cake

This is an AMAZING dessert on all accounts! I made this for a good friend's birthday. Her favorite dessert happens to be Tiramisu and this was absolutely perfect! None of us are into alcohol so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bottle for the small amount needed. Instead, I substituted Davinci Kahlua gourmet syrup (like what you'd put in coffee drinks). It worked fabulously! I also used instant Espresso powder instead of instant coffee. And I made two of the three layers coffee flavored, leaving the center layer as is. I made perfect chocolate curls. The fresh whipped cream frosting is amazing! Wonderful recipe and definitely competes with the most impressive I have ever made!

Pat's Baked Beans

This was a really yummy baked beans recipe! I made it for a birthday BBQ and the entire pan was gone. Be sure to substitute a mix of your favorite beans. I used pork n'beans, ranch style beans, pinto and kidney. Definitely a keeper!
