Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
Very easy and my husband liked it. (I'm a bad cook so that was a true feat.)

Tuna Noodle Casserole III

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
We added 1/3 cup of sour cream and it turned out VERY creamy. Maybe I'll ad some veggies next time to soak up some of the cream. Very hearty. Hubby and I both liked and would make again.

I liked it. Hubby was alright with it.

Pie Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
It was okay but a little too bland for me. I added a struedel topping but that didn't really help it much.

Monkey Bread V

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
I only made one tube of biscuits and it came out a bit crisp. Perhaps next time I'll make two tins and add more butter.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
This was very easy to make and the chicken was extremely tender. We took other people's suggestions and baked it for 45 minutes rather than broiling it. I'm only giving it 3 stars b/c it lacked flavor. All I could taste was butter. I'll make this again but add more spice and cut down the butter. Great starter though!

Pineapple Pie II

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
It wasn't bad but it wasn't great - just okay. I would probably use more pineapple next time to give more flavor and texture.

Oaty Cereal Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Very easy and very good! I used Splenda, sugar free syrup, reduced fat peanut butter, and strawberry Honey Bunches of Oats. (I'm a long-term dieter and that's what I had on hand). I boiled the syrup and sugar for 3-4 minutes as suggeseted by others. It was a bit of a workout stirring in the peanut butter and cereal but well worth the (slight) effort. Very good! I can't stop going to fridge to break off a piece.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole III

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
It was a little too limp for me - next time I'll use chips as others have tried. I'll also add much more spice - the mushroom and chicken cream was a little overpowered the chili and I want more flavor. But still good.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
I used plain French's mustard from the fridge and added quite a bit of black pepper. They turned out very tender and spicy with just a touch of sweetness. I think next time I'll a bit more honey just to see. Easy and great!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
Very good. I used turkey breast filets and left out the cereal (I didn't have any). I also left out the egg and just used milk (also didn't have eggs). The turkey was VERY moist and cheesy. Like many others, I also reduced the flour mixture by half but used the full amount of everything else.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
I can't really rate this b/c I never got to try it! I made the mistake of using a plastic mixing bowl the first time and learned the hard way that you should definitely use glass as per the instructions. It was stuck to the bowl and I had to scrap that batch and try again. The second time I didn't cook it long enough and it never set (even after I put it in the fridge for a few hours). So I scrapped it as well. It looked good though!

Hash Brown Casserole for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
Very good! I gave this a 4 only because all of the cheese was a bit overwhelming. Next time I'll either add some meat to it and make it into a main dish or scale back on the sour cream.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
I've tried this recipe twice and both times I've been disappointed with the consistency (and to a lesser extent the flavor). I'll stick to floured recipes.

Pineapple Lime Molds

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I didn't much care for all of the pineapple b/c it kept the pie from being creamy. It was a bit too chunky for me, but the flavor was very good.

Cornbread Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
I liked this recipe but had to make changes to accomodate what I had on hand. I used plain ground turkey and left out the onions and peppers. I added in some basic black pepper for a bit of flavor. Overall, I was very happy with the results - definitely an easy meal that's great on a cold day!

No Bake Sugar Free Cheese Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Eh...it was a bit bland for me. I used a 3 oz box of sugar free lime jello so maybe that's why it was lacking in the flavor department. Also, it wasn't as creamy as I was hoping - more like a whipped pie than cheese cake.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Great recipe! I subbed a can of navy beans for the black beans (it's what I had on hand), only used 1 can of kidney, and substituted a can of diced tomatoes for one can of soup. My boyfriend and I both loved this but we didn't find it to be spicy in the least. Maybe it's the Texan in us but we both thought it was pretty mild. I'll definitely make it again but next time I'll add a bit more spice.

Easy Lemon Chiffon Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
This recipe was super easy and tasted ok, but basically amounted to flavored cool whip with a crust. I think next time I'll add some cream to make it a bit thicker. I did love how easy this pie was to reduce the calories in though!

Baked Spaghetti

Will definitely make again! I cut out lots of fat by subbing ground turkey, fat free sour cream, reduced fat parmesan, whole wheat pasta, and egg beaters. It still tasted great!
