Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

I accidentally ended up w/ a 14 lb. pork shoulder and I slow cooked it for 11 hrs in A&M Root Beer. It was AWESOME..I also rubed salt and pepper on the pork b4 I started to cook it. Perfect recipe. Couldn't be easier than to forget about your cooking for a while.

Strawberry Cream Pie

I think the title represents the pie incorrectly. This is a CUSTARD pie! There is nothing cream like. However, I love custard and I love strawberries. I thought the pie was interesting and had great flavor and the crust was great! I will definately make again, but only when I know the peeps I'm cooking for enjoy CUSTARD! You really have to like custard to enjoy this pie.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Easy and good. I didn't change a thing. I would make this again, but I might change a few things, like add mushrooms and maybe a little onion in the patties...It's definatly a start to a great recipe.

Baked Pork Chops I

I forgot to get back on and rate these pork chops!! However, I made them w/ no revisions to the recipe and I thought they were fine. They were moist and that was the most important thing to me b/c I always overcook my chops!! Well browning the chops is the key to making this work.

Blue Cheese Chicken Wing Dip

I made this with all the exact measurements, however, I put it in a crockpot and didn't layer this. I thought it had entirely too much Blue Cheese dressing and Hot Sauce. I would cut down those two ingredients next time. It was ok but really blue cheesey. I think I'll try to make this next time w/ some ranch dressing instead.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I really like this soup as is. I didn't change a thing, however, the night I made it, the base was a little runny, but the next day it was perfect! I will def. make this again. Maybe cut down on the pepper just a little bit. It was quite peppery.

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

I made this recipe as stated..Did not change a thing. Way too much pepper, to the point it was not edible!! and Way too much salt. I usually read the reviews and sometimes I make adjustments....I should have read the reviews...It has great potential but making this as stated...FORGET IT! What a disappointment for Thanksgiving Day!
