Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
This is a good recipe, but I changed it a bit. I also used beef broth instead if water in the beef mixture. I also added to the stuffing a can corn, some chilli pepper, and a lot of red pepper flakes. I love my food really spicey, this was a great recipe to have fun with. Thanks

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
I tripled the amount of sauce (had guests for dinner) it worked well. I had one pound of shrimp, and stir fry veggies. I also used a wok to cook it which worked great. I doubled the amount of red pepper, and added ground chilli it still could've used more spice. I'll make it again it was yummy.

Applesauce Cake IV

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
Wow! I just baked this cake an hour ago, and had to write a review. I was nervous about baking a cake with no eggs, or milk so I was expecting the worst. It came out GREAT. I changed a lot of the recipe - I added about 3/4 cup of cocoa powder w/the dry ingredients, omitted the raisins/cloves, used about a half cup extra of applesauce, and about a tablespoon of vegetable oil, and baked it in a small round springform pan. I topped it with a simple glaze (ref: vanilla glaze recipe on this site), and then sprinkled a bit of powdered sugar. It came out fantastic this is a great recipe to get creative with - Thanks for posting!

Baked Havarti Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2006
I just tried this tonight with my family. Very easy to make, and very very flavorful. there was quite a few different tastes in this one, but they blended together nicely. I used a ken's italian dressing w/aged romano. I added twice the amount of wine/worchestshire sauce, and garlic salt. I also added chopped onion with the mushrooms. I didn't use the greek seasoning perhaps that is what was overwhelming others.

Coconut Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
This cookies are AWESOME - I added a tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt to the dry ingreidients. I also used 'cream of tartar' instead of baking powder my cookies were not flat at all. I refridgerated for about an hour, and rolled them in powdered sugar, rolled them into balls on the cookie sheets than pressed like a peanut butter cookie. They are just great.
