Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
After reviewing several ratings I made some recommended changes. The first being I added more seasoning (garlic pepper, garlic powder, poultry seasoning) to the sauce and to the chicken mixture before cooking. Also, I cooked the chicken and veggies in chicken stock instead of water. My husband doesn't like celery so I used potato instead and also added some corn. I used Pillsbury ready made pie crusts (so easy..just open and unroll). And after brushing with egg white, baked the bottom crust for 5 minutes. I doubled the sauce and added most to the chicken mixture before putting it into the pan. I baked on 375 for 40 minutes. It looked and tasted delicious!!

Chicken Suiza Cornbread Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
My Fiance and I loved this. I cut it in half since it was just for the two of us. I added one regular egg, used canned white chicken, doubled the green chile peppers, ommitted the mushrooms, added a chopped red pepper, sprinkled cayenne pepper on top and used shredded mexican cheese. Oh, and the best part...I added chopped jalepeno. It was spicy and delicious!! Not bland whatsoever.

Carol's Arroz Con Pollo

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
This was OK, a bit bland. After seeing the price for the saffron ($16) for a small bottle, I used tumeric ($5) like someone suggested. I kept the chicken in the skillet the whole time. Healthy meal.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
Easy and healthy way to make salmon. I cut the oil and salt in half, and used the juice from a whole lemon. I cooked for 35 min and it was totally overcooked. So next time I will cut to 25 min.

These were delicious! However, they are very strong so I cut down the tequila a bit. We were all a bit toasty!

Mashed Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2004
I've made this twice now and am making it for Thanksgiving. The first time I used onion dip in a packet, but didn't care for the chuncks of onion, so next time I used Ruffles onion dip in the jar and it was perfect.

Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
I added Italian seasoning and onion powder to the chicken, used Italian style bread crumbs and added grated parm and also added more seasoning to bread crumbs. The last five minutes I topped the chicken with shredded parm. I used cutlets and they were done in about 25 min. Very tender. I served with pasta.

Fantastic! I made this for my husband and bro-in-law. They wanted more. They said 10 stars. I made an extra batch of sauce which I recommend. Made with mashed potatoes and mixed veg and dinner rolls. We were all wanting seconds. My 2 year old also like it.

Chicken, Garlic, and Sundried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
My and husband and I loved this dish. It tastes like something you would get at a good Italian restaurant. Because other reviewers complained of it being bland, I seasoned the chicken before cooking it with Italian seasoning and garlic pepper. Other than that I didn't change anything. However, next time I will add a vegetable such as peas, broccoli, or spinach and maybe more sun dried tomatoes. And also add some crushed red pepper to spice it up a bit. I served it with a salad and texas toast.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
I make this often with canned chicken or tuna. It's much faster and tastes just as good. I recommend using the cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup (campbell's) as it gives the casserole much more flavor. I always add mixed veg to it too.
