Taco Pie

I made a low fat version with ground turkey, reduced fat crescent rolls, light mayo, sour cream and cheese. Baked tortilla chips. My husband really liked it. I added lettuce, tomato and topped with taco sauce.

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Very simple yet looks gourmet. I used sliced baby bellas. I baked them on 350 for 7 min then broiled for 5 more. So good! I want to try with a little balsamic next time.

Quick Chili II

I make this chili a lot. I do recommend using tomato juice in place of water and adding salt. I make it with turkey to make it more lean. Seasoning the meat also adds taste.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Yum! This will be my new meatloaf recipe. I've been making the Remple family meatloaf from this site for a long time and this is a nice change. My family loved it. My kids even preferred it without ketchup!

Nadine's Delicious Tilapia

Super easy way to make tilapia. I added more seasonings to the breadcrumbs. I didnt have any parm on hand, but will def add that next time. Not sure why the recipe says to cut fish into pieces. I did that with one piece and was so much more work. I cut the filets in half and gave the nuggets to my kids. Cooks way faster than it calls for, I burned the first few pieces. Also, I had to double the breadcrumbs and flour.

Beefy Cheesy Pasta

I've made this twice now. The first time I followed the recipe and second time followed some sugg to increase meat and use taco seasoning. I also added some old el paso queso which gave it a lot of flavor and some spicyness. Much better after tweeking.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

I make this often with canned chicken or tuna. It's much faster and tastes just as good. I recommend using the cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup (campbell's) as it gives the casserole much more flavor. I always add mixed veg to it too.

Mexican Casserole

I made a lot of the recommended changes. I sauteed onion and garlic with the chicken and sprinkled the chicken with Mexican seasoning. I didnt drain the beans or corn and also added a cup of minute rice. I thought it was just OK. Probably won't be making it again.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

This is our 3rd Christmas having this casserole. It's so easy to prepare. I doubled the recipe and It was all gone. I used 1 regular sausage and 1 hot. I Added extra eggs and used a little less milk. I used one loaf of texas toast. Next year I would like to mix the maple sausage in with the hot. Everyone really liked it.

Breaded Parmesan Chicken

I used cutlets so they were done faster, therefore the crust wasn't browned so I broiled for 5 min. It was juicy and tender. Served with pasta.

Crispy Chicken Strips

Easy Garlic Chicken

I added Italian seasoning and onion powder to the chicken, used Italian style bread crumbs and added grated parm and also added more seasoning to bread crumbs. The last five minutes I topped the chicken with shredded parm. I used cutlets and they were done in about 25 min. Very tender. I served with pasta.
