Chicken Pot Pie IX
I've been making this about once a month for a couple years, and it's GREAT just as written. I have made changes that I think make it even better. USE A DEEP DISH PIE CRUST! Other reviewers have said to double the sauce, but I think that makes too much - about 25% more is plenty. I leave the celery out and add diced potatoes. If you don't have peas, broccoli is great, too. Also, I never have celery seed, so I use garlic powder. I also use broth instead of water for boiling and then use the same broth in the sauce. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We never have leftovers.

Terrific Turkey Chili
This is one of my favorite chili recipes. It is not a traditional chili, so if that's what you want, this ain't your recipe. I LOVE the zucchini, and the overall flavor of this dish is out of this world. However, my husband and daughter are not fond of it, so I make it when they're not home. I usually add a can of beans, but to me, it is a 5 star recipe even without them. It is a very adaptable recipe. Try it!

Crazy Cake
I've had better chocolate cakes, but for its simplicity and versatility, this one's a keeper. We don't eat a lot of eggs in our house, so we almost never have them on hand; this recipe's great for when we want cake but don't want to make a special trip to the grocery store. I followed one reviewer's advice and cut out the cocoa and replaced the water with an orange-mango juice blend, and it was very good! I've made three variations already.
