About this Cook
I am a late bloomer...Married for the first time at 29...Okay. Okay! 40! Yep, 40. I married my high school sweetheart. I have one daughter, Kat and two sons,Tim and Taylor. I love my husband, Todd.(Most days) Other days, I love him more.I like to sing, cook, collect coins, play guitar, am learning to paint/draw.
My favorite things to cook
Chicken Enchiladas, General Tso's Chicken, any kind of cookie, pies, cakes. Yes, the fattening stuff. OH my husband's Fajitas! and fluffy stuff.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey and dressing Yamyums, Pumpkin pie, I make the hamburgers and my husband does the grillin and the kids clean up!!(hah! in my dreams!!)
My cooking triumphs
Toast I know what your thinking....but toast. I was used to a gas oven and my husband had an electric and I just couldnt seem to get the right timing on the toast issue. One time, I burned the toast so badly that the smoke was rolling out the door. I was hurt until I looked up and saw billows of smoke rolling out. I busted up laughing which finally gave my husband relief, He was about to bust a stitch in his side from holding it in. But he was my hero, he didnt laugh until I did. I love you, baby.
My cooking tragedies

Too Much Chocolate Cake
I make this cake at every function and never do I not get comments as to the moistness and flavor of this dessert. I also make a homemade chocolate icing that I put on it. {but it doesnt need it, at all! My mom said she prefers it without the icing!} Great recipe!!

This was soo easy to prepare! My husband, of course was skeptical, and frankly so was I despite the reviews! It was so delicious! We're having it again tonight!
