Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

This was good! I gave 4 stars as it lacked a lot of flavor. I added more spices, and it was much better. Will make it again. Thanks

Spicy Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
My family liked this recipe. I made it last night, and it was good. To me it was pretty bland though. It definately needed more flavor! I added more hot sauce to my bowl, and that helped a lot. I also added more spices than were in the recipe, to the whole pot. I added some lemon pepper (i put that in alomst everything) also some chilli powder. It was pretty good. I used red onion to give it more color. I also prefer to cook with red onion. Not too bad, but will spice it up even more if I try it again! Thanks

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
These were so marvelous! I loved them!! I did make a few changed though. I did use the chortening instead of butter. I doubled the recipe, as I was making these for a gathering. I tripled the topping. I added cinammon & nutmeg to the batter. I also added more cinammon than called for in the topping and some nutmeg. These were gone in minutes. Thank you, and I will definately makes these again and again!!!!

Broccoli Biscuit Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
This was good, but lacked Flavor! I will definately make again, only next time I will add more seasonings. I did add some crumbled bacon before the brocolli. I put a few dashes of worcheshire on mine, right before eating it and it was awesome! The kids were afraid to try it. I think I might put a few dashes in the meat while its cooking. It needs something....

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
These were pretty good! I used canned apples and added the rest of the ingredients to them. The sauce was yummy. My family did NOT like the apples on the chops, so next time I will take them out and just pour the sauce on them. I highly recommend cooking the chops pretty done before placing in the oven. I browned them in a pan, then placed them in the baking dish while I made the sauce. I poured the sauce over the chop and baked it for about 30 minutes. It as easier to do it this way. Saved a lot of steps, and time. Will make again!

Cheesy Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2007
Wow this was great! Although I made some changes. I was afraid it would be bland so I added seasonings, as the recipe does not call for any. Ok, so here is what I did, I followed the recipe up until the potatoes were tender. I then added garlic salt, salt, pepper, and a little bit of lemon pepper. I used sharp cheaddar cheese instead of the sliced cheese. I just bought a 1/2 lb chunk, diced it up, and threw it in when recomended to. I ended up having to add more milk, as there was not enough liquid. This was yummy! I served with baguettes from my local grocery store. You must try this. Not sure if my family would have liked it without all the seasoning I added, but that is up to you.
