Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
My husband begs for this each fall. We like to think of it as a movie... "Apple Crisp II: The Reckoning -- This time it's delicious!"

Glazed Pork Chop

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
This dish has made its way into our rotation! I use 1T dijon mustard and 2T Gulden's brown mustard, bake it at 350 for about 15-20 minutes and then turn on the broiler until the glaze starts sizzling and browning. I've never found any need for the water in the dish. All you need is some aluminum foil, a baking sheet and you're done!

Slow Cooker Green Beans, Ham and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2005
People who are not from Lancaster County, PA may not quite understand this recipe, but it has that great comfy PA Dutch blandness that I have come to know and love on a cold winter's day.

Pasta Fagioli Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2005
I made this for a winter dinner party along with Italian Sausage Soup and it got rave reviews! I used one can of Great Northern and one can of Cannellini beans which added a bit more interest. Also, I kept the soup on low heat while serving and found that I needed to keep adding chicken broth to keep it from getting too thick. Many have told me that this is the best Pasta e Fagioli they have ever had! =)

Awesome! I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone was passing up the store-bought "fancy" cheesecake for this one!
