Brunch Scones

This is the best scone recipe ever!! It bakes nicely (temp. was perfect for me), and it comes out delicious! I didn't use the currants, and I used soy milk instead of milk. All I had was salted butter in the house, so I used that...it worked, however, it must of slightly changed the taste.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

i'd just like to suggest (for those of you who have had a problem with it cooking) that you bake for that time, and if it isn't browned yet, you turn the oven to broil. watch it CAREFULLY, making sure it doesn't burn but browns perfectly

Apple Crisp III

people have been saying that this comes out watery. A simple solution---don't use water! crisp is a very easy dessert to play around with and in my past experience with it is that the base can be a simple mix of apples and cinnamon. Beleive me, I am positive that omitting the water completely will still give you a great dessert.

Mom's Chocolate Cake

amazing flavour, deep rich chocolate taste with a hint of coffee, yumm... For me, it didn't rise but this could have been easily my fault. maybe i mixed too much, or delayed putting it in the oven, i don't know. however, this is a way better cake then any other.

Strudel Dough

hmm, pretty good. be sure to roll the dough out so its not thick at all. it can get pretty hard to eat if its thick. i filled my strudels with an apple sauce and sprinkled some sugar on top, it tasted pretty good. much more satisfying than to eat store-bought strudels as you can be actually aware of what you're eating. try using whole-wheat flour.

wow, these are REALLY fudgy... also very addicting, i used whole wheat flour in place of all purpose but for everything else i carefully followed instructions and they turned out great

Apple Strudel Muffins

Fantastic muffin! I've made this many times. Last night I started making them, and found out my brother had used up all the eggs and apples! So instead of eggs, I used 1/4 cup of apple juice mixed with 3/4 tsp. of baking soda. I then used blueberries instead of apples. It turned out just as good, even though the texture was more cake-like than that of a muffin.

Egg-Free Dairy-Free Nut-Free Cake

Yum, this cake has a really rich chocolate taste. Its very addicting. I left out the chocolate chips this time as I had run out, it turned out great but next time I will try adding them in.

Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge

blah.... i made this last night and here it being 8 o'clock in the morning, its a brown goo. i would not recomend this recipe as it is not very explanitory in when it is done, so it was very hard to tell. even besides that, it is awful.

Easy Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge

this was okay. it did have a LOT of sugar so i limited it to 2 cups. that still was too much sugar for me, so next time i'll only use 1 1/2. does have a nice peanut butter-y taste though.

very good recipe. the only thing that went wrong for me is that i couldn't cut it very well. i ended up breaking it with my hands. odd shapes, but it still tasted wonderful.
