Hot Mexican Spinach Dip

This was a great hit at my last party. Everyone commented on it because it was so much better than the classic spinach dip recipes. It looked great served with different colored tortilla chips.

Spicy Tortilla Roll-Ups

I gave this 5 stars because it was a big hit at my last party. I would rate it less because I had to make changes but none the less it was good. I also recommend doubling the cream cheese and add the hot sauce to your taste. It got great compliments because the cream cheese balanced the hot nicely. I mixed cream cheese with hot sauce and hot peppers then sprinkled scallions, olives and red peppers in a line pattern before rolling so they looked great when rolled and cut.

Stuffed Flank Steak

Very easy, good and elegant to serve! I used someone's suggestion and make a double batch of gravy with fresh mushrooms and saved half of it to serve with the roast. I also added rosemary to give a better flavor. I pounded and marinated the meat overnight with red wine, steak seasoning and soy sauce and it make the flavor bake through the meat! I baked for only 50 minutes because I like my meat med-well and it was perfect! This recipe was very moist but I must admit that I opened the oven half way through cooking and put the fallen gravey back on top.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

Fabulous! The Curry wasn't too much and I found the recipe perfect just the way it is! I only added a drop of cream to the top of each soup bowl for decoration before serving.

Multigrain Seeded Bread

My husband is German and it is difficult to get authentic German seeded bread even in NYC but this recipe was a must keep! It was perfect. We just dumped the ingredients into the bread machine on the whole wheat cycle!

Spicy Thai Coconut Shrimp

Fantastic and soooo easy! Regular coconut milk was perfect. Several people suggested adding more curry paste which is perfect but add it to your own taste! I pre-cooked string beans to use instead and it worked just as well. This is a keeper. My dinner guests went crazy over this recipe!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

This is the classic recipe! Please try it with tomato soup even though it sounds a little odd! It provides and smooth and creamy consistency that b that blends perfectly with the other flavors (acidic tomato sauce cannot provide this!) Of course adding freshly minced garlic, onion, oregano and paprika were a must for me!

Three Bean and Artichoke Salad

This recipe is a good twist if you are not in the mood for the same old 3 bean salad. I brought this to a potluck bbq and almost everyone went back for thirds of this dish until it was gone.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

This is a wonderful recipe! I made too much and froze the dough. It perfectly thawed then cooked perfectly. I cooked by own dried chick peas in the pressure cooker which made them very easy to mash by hand.

Fragrant Millet Pilaf

This is a good recipe for a change but not as exceptional as I expected based on the combination of ingredients. I agree with a previous reviewer that the orange and cinnamon overpower the saffron. If I make this again, I will not add my expensive saffron since I am not sure that it does anything for this dish. I took previous reviewers advice and only cooked the millet for 20 minutes instead of 30 minutes and the consistency was perfect.
