These were awesome and really easy, as well. Everyone at brunch loved them, even my 2 year-old who never eats anything.

Awesome bread. I didn't have milk powder so I just left it out. I also used all purpose flour. It still turned out perfect.

Molten Chocolate Cakes

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
I made this for Valentine's Day dessert for my husband and myself. Since there are only two of us I halved the recipe, and made it in a Wilton valentine pan for small cakes that was pretty much the right size. When halved, the recipe made two. It was a dark pan and when I used it before I had trouble with it burning so I actually baked these around 325, not 425. I think I ended up baking them around 10 minutes. They were PERFECT, just like something you would get at a restaurant.

Delicious and picture perfect as well. I didn't have cream of tartar so I left it out and added 1 tsp lemon juice. They turned out great anyway!

This recipe is pretty great...I have been making it a lot but I only made it with fried fish the first time. Every time after that I have used seasoned grilled chicken strips instead of the fish. The white sauce recipe is perfect.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I LOVE this soup. Sometimes potato soups are so bland but this one is anything but. I have made it a few times now, following the recipe pretty much exactly...except my potatoes are always pretty small so I use more than two. I usually use 5 or 6, actually.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
Wow, this is delicious. I wanted to make sure I had enough for a crowd, since the serving size is 8, and I'm feeding 8, I like there to be a little extra. I just used the large cans of everything instead of the regular sized cans (beans, tomato sauce, corn, chopped tomatoes). I used a whole 1 lb pack of chicken tenderloins and the suggested seasoning from the comments. It's fantastic and I know it's going to be a bit hit.

Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: May 3, 2008
This recipe turned out really amazing but I did make a few changes. First off, I marinated the chicken in a store-bought teriyaki marinade for about an hour, and then I drained it and used the pineapple juice and garlic (I didn't have oregano so I didn't use any) for the time specified in the recipe. Then I cooked it under the broiler, brushing it occasionally with the pineapple juice. I added the pineapples to the broiler according to the recipe. I didn't have ground red pepper so I used red pepper flakes in the thousand island dressing. Also, I used onion slices in place of the green pepper. It was amazing! I'm going to make this all the time!

Bread Pot Fondue

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
I loved this! I actually can't say enough good things about it. I made my own loaf of bread to use as a bread bowl for a party and served this in it. I substituted chopped up jalapenos for the green chiles. I used a canned ham because I didn't have a real ham around. It was amazing. Everyone loved it. I think I'm going to make this for every party we have from now on.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
I made this exactly to the recipe and it turned out great. When I was putting in the onion I was thinking it was too much, but it cooked down great and actually added a bit of sweetness. I will definitely make this again. I think it'd be great with some bacon or chopped ham added to it. A good basic recipe that could be changed around a lot depending on what you want to do with it.

This was a little too sweet for me but got rave reviews from everyone else. It would be great with vanilla ice cream to cut down the sweetness of the caramel a little bit.

Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
We make this all the time. I only make half the sauce and that's always plenty. I usually end up leaving it in the oven longer than it's supposed to be in there, but that could be because of the way my oven cooks. It's really delicious, great over egg noodles, and even better as leftovers.

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2007
I thought this recipe would be really touchy and difficult to get perfect, but it was incredibly easy. I used it in the place of regular icing for a chocolate layer cake. First, I used 3 oz semisweet chocolate chips (that's all I could find) and 1/3 c. of cream with a little bit of Bacardi rum, and I put it in the freezer for a few minutes after mixing. I used an electric mixer to beat it up into a fluffy icing for between my layers. It seemed like it would be too thin for it to work, but it got perfectly fluffy and light brown and gorgeous. I then made another batch with the full portions but didn't beat it into fluffy icing, and used that for the top and the sides. It turned out gorgeous and everyone loved it. I don't think I'll ever make plain icing again.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Substituted espresso for the boiling water, but other than that followed the directions exactly. This turned out gorgeous- soft and fluffy and delicious. I used a chocolate ganache instead of the icing and the end result was quite impressive.

I made this without the walnuts, and I substituted apple sauce for the oil. I also added a little bit of nutmeg. It turned out perfectly, really moist and sweet and wonderfully spiced.
