Hey guys, so here I am again, asking for help!

My (pregnant) sister in law has made a request for a freshly baked batch of cookies. She saw my tin of Christmas cookies last year and has been asking me for them ever since. I haven't had the time to spend my whole day in the kitchen baking cookies but now that I have some free time, I would love to bake her some.

She claims that she wants a mixture of ANYTHING & EVERYTHING. I will be making some of the classics (chocolate chip cookies and sugar) but I need some new ideas. I have some recipes for some cookies but I'd appreciate some suggestions. Also if you have any gift ideas for them, that's be great. My niece should be born in about 2 weeks and I can't wait to meet her!

Thanks in advance guys!

PS: Do you think I can find some cookie recipes with citrus? I think she'd love that.

About Me
I love food! But I think that will become pretty obvious to many of you. I'll try almost ANY recipe and will most likely modify it according to my palate as I go. Eating is an adventure and I crave new experiences.
My favorite things to cook
Italian has become the "go to" food for me. I believe it is the easiest and very yummy. But... I am gonna have to go with Indian cuisine. The different levels of flavors within this type of cuisine is extraordinary. I hope to be able to cook Indian food at home and have it taste as good as the local spots.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving. I love ALL of the things that be brought to the table. I transitioned from a traditional turkey to a honey glazed Virginia ham and I have never gone back. I am trying to have a thanksgiving pot luck at my new apartment so that we can all enjoy different styles of food.
My cooking triumphs
I roasted a whole chicken! AND DIDN'T UNDER/OVER COOK IT. Every new creation in the kitchen is a triumph for me.
My cooking tragedies
I over cooked some pork chops because I got caught up on an episode of Pioneer Woman. It was disastrous. Good thing we keep the take out pile nearby and ready.
