Cravings! Cravings! Cravings! I can't have salty without sweet, soft without crunchy, and everything in between. I've been wanting to make a brunch sandwich with different components to satisfy my palate.
How about a grilled cheese sandwich with just a little mayonnaise on the inside and instead of just plain ol' American cheese, a nice thick slice of sharp cheddar cheese which will be melted when the sandwich is placed on the griddle. But that's not all,
of course. I like bacon with almost anything and bacon in a grilled cheese sandwich is heavenly. Candy the bacon! Brush it with some maple syrup after it has crisped up. Once the the bacon is glazed add it to your sandwich, cook on a griddle and enjoy!
Maybe for an adventurous twist, add some cayenne for some kick to your mayonnaise.
