Quick and Easy Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken Nachos Recipe

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
I sautéed the peppers and onions in olive oil instead of using them raw as described in the recipe. Otherwise, I followed the directions exactly and the nachos were DELICIOUS.

Needed double the breading and dredge them in milk before coating. But, these were great.

Grandma Mottle's Blarney Stones

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2014
Yummy and simple. My husband thought they were too sweet, but I LOVED the combination of sweet and salty. I think the milk should be cut in half to make the frosting not too runny. And, my preference is for only 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Otherwise, this is the perfect fix for "boring ol' pound cake."

Mom's Rum Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
This cake is FABULOUS. I DO NOT agree with the other review suggestions that you should pour the glaze into the pan and reinsert the cake. This leaves the top scrumptious and the bottom plain and boring. It probably would be easier to leave the cake in the pan, POKE HOLES, and pour over the bottom of the cake, but I don't think this would leave the top very "glazy" or pretty for presentation's sake. I think it's best just to stick with the glaze application as indicated in the recipe!

The peanuts get soft overnight. But, that's okay. Just eat them all in one sitting!

So rich! Good, but a little goes a LONG way. Someone who adores peanut butter cups would LOVE this dessert, though!
