Grandma's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These were wonderful cookies! Very moist and chewy. I halved the recipe, but used the same amount of cinnamon and they were very tasty. I was concerned when I finished mixing the dough that it was too wet, and the cookies would flatten when cooked, but they stayed in a nice little mound.

Raisin Brown Bread

A little too dense and heavy for my taste. I used light flavored molasses, but it was still a bit strong, it definately overpowered the cinnamon flavor.

Tender Flank Steak

Apple Glazed Pork Chops

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Chocolate Bar Fondue

This was good, but the texture wasn't as smooth and creamy as I would've liked. It seemd slighty grainy, but it didn't effect the flavor.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

I followed the recipe except that I substituted roast beef chunks for the steak strips. It turned out very watery, and I tried to thicken with a flour/milk mixture. It still was pretty soupy. The flavor was OK... but on the bland side. We probably won't make it again.

Baked Potato Soup I

This was a great recipe, and very versitile. I experimented by adding some chicken broth, sauteed onions & celery, and some bacon grease and the result was very good. We had company and everyone enjoyed this soup.
