BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
SO easy & super yummy! My Texan in laws (Texans love their BBQ) raved about it, & my mom who hates everything LOVED it. Great for company! Much easier though if you just get a roast, that way you don't have to fuss with bones at all. I've tried it both ways & it tasted the same to me!

Delicious. Even with only dried basil.

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

A mushy, mushy mess. I cut two batches of different widths for testing--one just as the recipe says, one thinner. Both were a mushy mess.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2014
I only changed it by adding only 2 cups shredded cheddar/jack cheese (it was what I had on hand). Delicious!!! This will be a new household staple, fo shizzle. Thank you!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2014
Awesome, versatile recipe! Makes more than enough filling, but you can use the filling for other stuff so it's awesome. The next day we had tomato soup with tortillas spread with this filling. Mmmmmm :)

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2014
I'm a vegetarian who modified this recipe. It was SO good! I eat cheese (obviously) so I only omitted the chicken. I reduced the taco seasoning to half (because of the lack of chicken), & just threw everything in a bowl & mixed, made into enchiladas, topped with sauce & cheese & it was amazing! Even my carnivorous husband liked them! Thank you! :)

Great waffles. Can substitute water for milk if you're out & they're still tasty. :)

Awesome. The almond makes it taste a tad different than Bailey's, which I like. Great for gifts! :)

Vegetarian Moussaka

A WHOLE lot of work for a very mediocre meal. I'd honestly be happier with a frozen lasagna, which is what this sort of tastes like. Only less yummy.

Shrimp Bisque

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
Soooooo yummy! I didn't have fat free half & half (only full fat) so I omitted the butter, & threw extra little chunks of shrimp in at the end. Altogether I used a lb of shrimp. I don't usually change recipes like that but I needed to use what I had...anyway, it was life changing. Thank you for the recipe! :) Also: shrimp on its own creeps me out, so this is the ideal way to feed people who are creeped out by shrimp shrimp. If that made sense.

Oklahoma Cheese Grits

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2014
Really good, but a little too rich. Next time I'll add a little less butter. But it did pass the test...it's definitely good enough to make again! Especially with bacon.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: May 27, 2014
I love these. They aren't super "traditional" but they are rich & yummy. I substitute plain (NOT vanilla) yogurt for sour cream & can't taste a difference! Also add squash & broccoli. Thanks for an amazing recipe!

These are easy & awesome. I only had a little over half a cup of butter, so I added a tad bit of veg. oil & they still turned out amazing. Can't wait to try them exactly as the recipe says!

These are SO good with a blueberry stuck in the middle! ...even better with butter on top when they're done cooking, but not quite as healthy. :)

Good & versatile! Good for when you need an easy healthy something to feed a lot of people. Used peaches instead of bananas. Not incredible left over.

Just like my aunt used to make at Christmas! I added enough butter to make the chocolate liquidy as it melted, then I used a grocery bag to shake w/powdered sugar. Yummy!

Sooooo good! I doubled the recipe except for the eggs like some suggested though & it didn't hold together...had the texture of stuffing. But it was SO good we didn't even care. ;) Next time ill try 2 eggs when I double the recipe! Thank you!

Soooo yummy! I cooked (sautéed) all veggies except for the tomato & mushrooms a bit beforehand. Everything else was as in the recipe. I can't wait to have this again!!! Super yummy & healthy!
