Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
This is as delicious as everyone is stating here! I didn't change a thing; only added carrots because we like them so much. I did make sure the butter/flour/milk mixture was well combined and smooth before adding-perfect consistency! This is an easy recipe and packs a powerful punch for a meal on a cold night. Way to go Ellie11!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
Only change I made was to add kidney beans instead of the chili beans (didn't have any). Also added a little chopped avocado to the top with the sour cream and cheese. Awesome and not a lot left!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Only thing we added was some sauteed onions; otherwise it was perfect. And gone! Not even a crumb was left! You will not be disappointed if you make this...

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
Really as good as everyone says! Instead of the tinfoil balls, cooked mine over onions and potatoes as someone else suggested-wonderful. Also threw in a few carrots and a stick of celery chopped up for flavor. Was afraid that it would be too dry so added a couple of chicken boullion cubes and about a cup of water. Seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika. Cooked on high for 1hr and then at low for 7. Could have probably just done low the whole time though (8-10 hrs or a whole work day). Chicken fell right off! Gonna be one of our favorites...

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
ALWAYS a hit when I make this. Even made it for a family who had just had a baby, added lots of chicken, served with fresh fruit and loaf of fresh bread and they said it was the best meal they had gotten! Great recipe!!

Ginger Dipping Sauce

Don't change a thing! Awesome sauce-used for a fondue party I had, we dipped chicken and beef. Would be good for sushi, over grilled chicken or as a salad dressing too!

Creamy Veggie Fondue

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
Made this for a group of 10 adutls for a fondue party. I had another cheese fondue also (the kind you buy already made in the gourmet cheese section of grocery), but this one was the hit!! I made a few changes though: I did not use any spinach or green onion. I did add some minced onion (about 1 tsp), and used Grey Poupon mustard in place of the dry mustard (about 1 tsp). I also added lemon juice (liberally) during the melting phase to help with the stringingness-totally helped! I also added my milk last which other reviewers had suggested-think this is key! My party LOVED this and couldn't get enough-I will be using this recipe instead of wasting my money on the already made stuff from now on! I also used a Sauvigon Blanc wine-think that helped with the flavor too. Just make sure when you are heating this on the stove to go slow and low. When we transferred it to the fondue pot, it stayed nice & creamy-although it was disappearing pretty fast! Thanks so much for this awesome recipe!

Brownie Christmas Tree with Kisses

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2004
This was SO easy!! I made it for a party and it got rave reviews from all. Only difference was to make my x-mas tree, I needed 40 little brownie cups. My recipe made about 48 brownies too, so there were some left over for the kids! I love the idea of using this for other holidays too-it would make a cute Valentine's dessert. I have to agree too about the amount of water-I decreased mine to about 3/4 cup water and next time I think I would use about 1/2 cup water.
