Good Meringue

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2014
I have NEVER made a good meringue before. Used on a coconut cream pie and it was perfect! Baked at 350 deg. for 12 minutes. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
Excellent crust! Very flaky and easy to work with. Double batch makes enough for two pies with two fancy cut out crusts, or three full pie crusts! Thank you, Dana!

Microwave Bread and Butter Pickles

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
It was brutal..to watch my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren trying to see who could get the most of the first small batch I made! These pickles are WONDERFUL. I made several more batches and followed the advice of one person who said to turn them upside down in fridge. They really did seal. I couldn't believe it. Recipe is definitely a keeper and a great way to use up the bountiful supply of cucumbers we had this year. Thank you, Linda, for sharing!!

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2014
I always add a dash of salt to bring out flavor. Also, to get proper consistency, either add more milk and beat beat beat if too stiff, or add more sugar and beat beat beat if too runny! Pretty simple. And make sure you use quality peanut butter! Thank you, Nickie75!

Yellow Squash and Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2014
Fantastic recipe! A definite keeper. Only changes I made were to add another small squash, about a cup of leftover whole kernel corn, a dash of parsley for color and used 1/8 cup shredded cheddar and 1/8 cup Parmesan. Can you imagine the best scalloped corn you ever ate? This is it but the squash adds texture and taste. Thank you so much for this recipe! Everyone loved it but the three year old granddaughter. Her loss! ??

Blueberry Strata

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2014
This recipe is amazing. I would make again, but I would add some cinnamon to the egg mixture. However, the syrup is EXTRA amazing! I did add a dash of cinnamon to the syrup and cut water back to only one cup since I had to use frozen berries for that. (The grandchildren had eaten the rest of the fresh berries by the time I made the syrup!). My son-in-law raved about this recipe, so it's definitely a keeper! Thank you for sharing, Jeannette1011!

I couldn't fathom the onion soup and applesauce combination, so I followed recommendations made by CERRAIN18TH. Pork chops were very juicy and good. Thank you, CERRAIN18TH!

Ham and Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2014
This was a super easy and delicious casserole! The only thing I did differently was to boil my onions with the noodles and then added 1/2 cup milk since it seemed very thick when I mixed it all together. Definitely a keeper recipe. Thank you, Kelli!

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2014
I had never tried soda bread before, but this recipe is a hit! At first I thought it was going to be just a big biscuit, but it is oh so good. As one reviewer said, one should reduce the oven temp and cook a bit longer. It was a tad doughy in the center, even though the toothpick did come out clean!?!? Also, do be sure to baste the buttermilk/butter mixture several times while baking. Thank you, MP Welty, for this wonderful recipe. I will make again and again!
