Fried Cabbage II

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Super tasty! My hubby and I gobbled it up. I had to use balsamic vinegar b/c I did not have the cider vinegar. I also added a couple slices of bacon b/c we love bacon. Overall, great taste and easy to make!

Beefy Baked Ravioli

This was a pretty good recipe. I followed the directions and the only change I made was to use more sauce, meat and cheese. My kids liked it and hubby said it was ok. Good and quick meal!

My Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
Cut chicken into bite size pieces and used 2 cans of chopped tomatoes that already had Italian seasoning in them. Served with brown rice. Really good and easy. Would make again!

Angel Shrimp Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
Super duper good! A hit with my family. Only changes I made was to use regular velveeta and half a can of green chilis. I also followed other people's suggestion to use 1/2 soup can of milk. I seasoned with 2 bay leaves, oregano, basil, parsley and garlic powder. Love it! I will be making it again soon.

Lip-Smacking Popcorn Concoction

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2006
Super duper yummy! A hit with all my friends and family. I followed the recipe exactly except for I used more almond bark than the recipe called for to make it extra sweet. Looks very pretty as a gift in a Christmas tin. Thanks!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
This was super! I already had a sliced small mickleberry ham so I just used that and cut it into small chunks. The only substitution I made was I used 2 cups fat free chicken broth and the rest water. I used 1% milk and the soup was the perfect consistency. This soup is perfect for a cold night!

Candied Yams

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
Yummy! I added a dash of cinnamon before the marshmallows. My marshmallows were stuck together for some reason (they came in a big clump in the package) so I don't think they melted down that pretty but it was still yummy.

Lisa's Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2006
Super impressed! The only 2 things I changed were to use garlic powder instead of garlic salt and I had no fresh tomatoes so I used a can of diced tomatoes with basil and oregano. I doubled the rub b/c I used more chicken than the recipe called for. Next time I will add zuchinni like others have mentioned. Thanks for a quick and healthy recipe Lisa! :)

Hamburger Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
This was good. My 2 year old ate 2 plates full. I did not have 2 cans of tomato soup so I used 1 can tomato soup and one can reduced sodium cream of mushroom. I also used french cut green beans instead of canned and chicken broth to make the mashed potatoes (boxed of course!). I added fresh garlic to the hamburger meat along with basil and a dash of oregano. Yummy!

Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
This was yummy! It has a very rich flavor and the crackers on top are the perfect touch. I put all the ingredients together the night before, refrigerated, and then popped in the oven the next day and it was perfect. Thanks for a great recipe!

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
Great chili! The only change I made was I used one can kidney beans and one can pinto beans. I made this with the amusement park cornbread (here on recipenotes) and it was a great dinner for a cold south texas night. Will definitely keep this recipe. Thank you!

Chicken Tortilla Soup III

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
YUMMY! I could feel myself getting fatter with every bite but it was worth it. I served with crushed tortilla chips on top, a dollop of sour cream and sliced avocado. I used a can of rotel in the soup too along with the salsa to give it a little more kick. Would make it again and again and again :)

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2005
This is a yummy pie! I squeezed fresh limes and doubled the recipe. I used one of those pie crusts that has 2 additional servings and the mixture doubled was perfect. I also baked the pie for an additional 10 minutes or so and the middle was firm. I made redi-whip topping and it was the perfect touch to match the tartness of the pie. I will share this recipe! Thanks!

Chicken and Artichokes

Reviewed: May 24, 2005
This was a very good dish! It had lots of flavor and even looked pretty in the glass dish I cooked it in. My husband does not like artichokes so I made it with lots of extra mushrooms and he loved it and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

This dish was ok. I steamed the squash and just felt that there was not much flavor to this dish. It tasted like it was missing something.

Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: May 24, 2005
Yummy! Like the others I doubled the bread crumb mixture and only used 1 and a half ranch dry dip packets. I also whipped an egg and dipped each piece of chicken in the egg before rolling in the dry mix. I used chicken tenders instead of breasts and they were perfect. I will make this again. My very picky 8 year old requested seconds!
