Noodles Marmaduke

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
Good recipe. Very homey tasting, comfort food. Noodles didn't get quit cooked enough, I had to add some broth and extend the cooking time. It was actually better as leftovers. My husband gave it 5 stars. Will make again.

My husband, who usually complains when we have chicken had seconds! I didn't have any bacon bits, so I used real crumbled bacon. I will make again.

Basic Bean Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
I searched high and low for a bean soup like my mom used to make. This is it! So easy and tasty. I always cook it with a smoked shank or ham hock added for a little smokey flavor. Just removed before serving. I make this soup all the time in the winter months.

Tuscan Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2005
I love this soup, I used to have to go to Olive Garden every time I wanted this soup, now I make it at home all of the time. Sometimes I use kale instead of spinach, and I usually add some Oscar Meyer bacon bits. Also, I use spicy turkey italian sausage.

Cabbage and Kielbasa

Excellent flavor! Brings out the German Girl in me! Didn't really need the water. Used regular cabbage cause that is what I had and used Turkey kielbasa. This will be added to the "FAVORITE'S" list at our house.

Great recipe! The sour cream adds just the right zing. Even good as leftovers. I did switch the order of layering the ingredients like others suggested. I will be making this for my pasta loving husband often!

My husband loves this recipe! I always use a "spicy" pkg aof ramen and a regualr oriental. Also, I always use whatever fresh vegies I have in the house. I like the flavors much better with fresh. All in all, a great, quick meal!

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2007
I gave it 3, 5 from my husband, so we end up with a 4 star. It was OK, but the balsamic glaze is such a strong flavour that it took away from the expensive cut of meat. Will probably try it again but make the glaze separately like some others suggested.

Pizza On The Grill I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
Well, we had our first grilled pizza experience tonight and WOW! It was great! Due to time constraints, we used a batch of crust we purchased and divided into two pieces. We also used a canned organic pizza sauce that we really like. The grilled crust was great! One we made with roasted red & yellow peppers, black olives, onion and mushrooms. The other was thin sliced canadian bacon onion and pineapple. Next time we plan to try the crust recipe. This is such a versatile recipe and the grilled flavor adds so much to a pizza!

Exceptionally easy, good flavor. I think the cooking time could be cut back a bit as the rice was a little over done, but we will try this again.

Great goulash! I did add some beef broth to help the mac cook as others suggested and did partially cook the mac first. Has just a touch of heat, perfect. My husband loved it.
