Five Ingredient Ice Cream

First time I made homemade ice cream, I used this recipe. Easy and fun to make. I made it exactly as stated. Better than store bought, especially since you control what goes in. Like some reviewers said it was too sweet for me, however, what is too sweet for me may not be so to another person.

Beef and Parmesan Pasta

It's like Hamburger Helper but from scratch - I'll never make hamburger helper again! Great basic recipe. Here's my changes: 1 1/2 ground beef, 1 can italian diced tomatoes, 1 to 1/2 can beef broth, 2 cloves garlic minced, 1/2 cup diced onion, 1 1/2 cup pasta, 1/2 cup zucchini, 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper, 1 teaspoon italian seasonings & 1 cup parmesan-ramono cheese, salt & pepper.

French Beef Stew

Great stew served with cornbread! The mustard is awesome! Here's what I did: 2 lbs beef stew meat, 3 tblsp flour, 2 tlbsp olive oil, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can beef broth, 1/2 cup good red wine, 4 chopped carrots, 2 stalks celery, 1/2 cup mini onions, 2 cubed potatoes, 3/4 tsp dried thyme, 1 tlbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 2 bay leaves, 2 tlbsp Dijon mustard, pinch of basil, salt/pepper to taste. Pizza Dough I

Good recipe, but like other reviewers, it's missing directions. Here's my changes: 1 1/4 cups warm water, 1 pkg active dry yeast, 1 tblsp sugar, 1 tsp thyme or Italian seasonings, 3 tblsp olive oil, 3+ cups of flour, 1 tsp salt. Mix water, yeast, sugar & oil in mixer bowl. Then add flour & salt. Mix-knead for 10-12 minutes, sprinkling with flour to keep from sticking to bowl. Dough should be elastic & smooth. Place dough in oiled bowl, cover dough with oil, cover & let stand 1 hr at room temp. Then divide dough 2 equal parts roll into balls, cover with damp towel & let stand another 10 mins. Use immediately. Don't forget to poke holes into dough with fork once rolled onto pan to let steam escape while baking.

Easy Pizza Sauce I

Definitely better than store bought and alot easier to make than I thought. My changes: I used only 1 cup of water, 4 tblsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of salt and followed the rest of the recipe. You must let it sit for at 4 hours to let the flavors marry. Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

Pan-Fried Steak with Marsala Sauce

Like other reviewers, I used beef broth instead of chicken. You must use rib eye chuck! It is the most tender of the steaks when frying. I also thickened the sauce with flour but used alittle more garlic. Everyone loved this including unexpected company!
