Buttery Soft Pretzels
I loved these pretzels. I actually halved the recipe and reduced the flour to 3 cups vs. 3 1/2 cups. I also added 2 tbs of water. I found that this ration got the dough just right. I let the yeast, hot water and sugar proof in my bread machine and then tossed in the rest of the ingredients and set it to "dough". Using my bread machine to knead the dough made it super easy. A learned how to shape a pretzel by watching a YouTube video. I was able to make 6 pretzels. I baked two and froze the shaped dough for later. I accompanied my pretzels with marinara sauce for dipping. I can't wait to make other flavors that you can find at the pretzel chains in the mall.

Fluffy French Toast
This was very tasty. I made the recipe exactly like the directions stated. Next time I will double up on vanilla and Cinnamon. I'm thinking of adding a little nutmeg too.

Buttercream Icing
I really liked this recipe. It is the Wilton Buttercream Frosting I used to make as a child. I didn't use shortening because I didn't have any on hand. I doubled the butter instead. It was tasty, but not as good as the one I remember from Wilton. I think the shortening may be the missing link. Nonetheless, it was really tasty.
