Banana Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2005
This makes an excellent cookie. My mother used to make a cookie like this when I was a little girl. I can't remember if her's was as cake like but I think it was close. Either way, we really love these. I did a few things different. I replaced over half of the butter with applesauce and I used brown sugar as well as white and added in some walnuts for crunch. I think the applesauce, oatmeal, and bananas makes it a good cookie to give children. It's a little healthier than your normal chocolate chip cookie! Thanks Jenny!

Fruity Cookie Press Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
This is the second year I've made these and I think they're so cute! I did have to change the temp and time though. Maybe it's just my oven but at 400 degrees for 12 minutes they would be beyond burnt. I dropped down to 350 for about 7-8 minutes and that worked for me. Thanks!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2004
My husband, children and I stayed in a nice hotel in N.H that served these cookies in the lobby. It was the time I'd ever had a cookie like this and I loved it. The first thing I did when we got back home was to look up a recipe for them on All Recipes. I actually have made these twice. The first time I made them I took the advice of taking them out while still doughy. Unfortunately they were too doughy and didn't transfer without breaking. I also only had whole fresh cranberries that I softened for a few minutes in the oven. Others liked them but I thought they were too tart and too big to be put in a cookie. I just made these again today to use up the left over cranberries. This time I cut the cranberries up, softened in the oven for a bit, added nuts to the cookie mix, and oh my...heaven! Only down side is we can't stop eating them and will surely gain 50 pounds!

Bacon Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2004
I just made this today and it's very, very good! I had some wheat baguettes that I put this on and I can't believe how good it is! My kids haven't tried it yet but my husband loves it. Thanks!

Building Gingerbread

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2008
I worked with this recipe for about two hours last night only to run out of dough at the end. I was only making one house but there's not enough for the roof. The dough got crumbly fast so I also did the microwave thing. We all have the day off from school today (snow day in Maine!) so my son's and I will try to put the finished parts together (sans roof) and see what happens!! Thanks for the recipe. I'll try again next year. Merry Christmas! :-)

Peach Cobbler VI

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
This was very easy. My husband and our dinner guest liked it. My sons and I thought it was okay. I think I should have cooked it longer than the time stated.

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
I've been making this for Christmas the last two years. I don't find it a bother to baste every 15 minutes at all...I'm in the kitchen anyway and the end product is worth it. I don't like cherries or pineapple so this is a grea alternative. Thank you.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
These came out light and fluffy. They would be perfect except for the salt. I think the amount of salt called for is way too much. I didn't read the reviews first, taking this straight out of the All Recipes cookbook. Next time I will definitely cut the salt down to 1/2 because they are too salty to eat as is.

A-Maize-ing Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
I made this twice in one week at the request of my family. The first time I kept it the same. The second time around I cut fresh corn of the cob and added a cup of half and half. It's great for a fall day in Maine! Thanks!

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I just got done frosting my husband's birthday cake with this. I have to make him a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting every year as it's his fave. This was great...easy to use and my son said it was the best frosting ever. Thanks!

Microwave Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
I must have done something wrong. The taste of the caramel was very good but I had a really hard time getting the popcorn coated. The paper bag didn't work well for me. Most of the popcorn stuck together in small balls and every now and then you will get a huge piece of hard caramel (not that that is a bad thing really.) We'd have huge dentist bills if we ate this that often. Thanks!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2007
I made this last night with some penne pasta and a salad. This was quite greasy even after using the bread on bottom. I drained off the grease and the meatloaf itself was so good. Thank you!

I just made these today. Some are still baking and my two boys love them. They are so easy to work with and taste great. I made angels and gingerbread men and got 21 out of the recipe as is. They look sooo cute!! Thanks so much.

Magic Cookie Bars I

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2006
I made these today for a camping trip we're taking this week. I used about 2 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs to make more of a sturdy crust. I also poured half the can of milk over the crumbs and the other half over the top once everything was in. They came out great. After cooling for an hour they cut easily and look really great. Thanks!

Chocolate Sandwich Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2004
I'm not sure what happened with these but they came out awful. No one liked the flavor and the cookies spread like crazy. I've made whoopie pies for years using my mothers' recipe but I couldn't find it so I thought I'd try this one. I think I'll keep searching for my other one. Thanks though!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
These were great. I had to make something for a very last minute cookie exchange. I normally make cut-out sugar cookies for parties but I knew I wouldn't have time. These were so easy to make and tasted wonderful. Everyone at the party asked for the recipe. Thank you.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
These tasted good but they spread out really thin and stuck to the cookie sheet. I'm going to try it with the rest of the dough and grease the pan this time. I followed the recipe exactly.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
I made these for breakfast today. The muffins came out looking beautiful and tasted great too. This recipe made nine big muffins. I cut the topping in half and still had some left over so I think that could be cut down. Great recipe! Thank you!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2005
Well, I'm definitely in the minority here. My husband really liked this recipe but I didn't care for it at all. I guess I just don't care for my meatloaf with sugar. Thanks though.
