I love to cook, quilt, crochet, fish, camp, read, and spend time with my family. I love making traditional Southern cuisine - i.e. comfort foods. Baking is something I also thoroughly enjoy. My family loves to eat, and I love to cook for them! :o) I come from a long line of home cooks. Mealtime has always been an event in our family. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of everyone gathering around the table to eat the plentiful dishes prepared by skilled hands. Traditions? Good home cooked food made with lots of love. Currently, my sourdough bread (and starter) which are turning out better than expected. Whole wheat bread. I've never been able to make a decent loaf, despite numerous attempts. I do, however, have several hefty door stops for sale.
