Lemon Chess Pie I
Agree with other reviewers that this pie is very easy to make. Used evaporated milk (for extra creaminess) and added grated rind from one lemon (for more lemon flavor). My family enjoyed it, although I found the filling a little too sweet. The pie is also very good eaten cold. Baked for approximately 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Apple, Cranberry, and Pear Crisp
Excellent! Followed recipe, except I replaced the two tablespoons of honey with maple syrup (an idea from another AllRecipe submission (Maple Apple Crisp from Crystal). Used Courtland apples and Bosc pear (more available in the Northeast) and the crisp was superb!

Apple Crisp II
Excellent! Used the advice of other reviewers and doubled the topping and omitted the water. I also added 1/3 c. dried cranberries, 1 tsp. each of vanilla, lemon juice and apple pie spice (instead of cinnamon) to the apple filling to enhance the flavor. The children loved it, despite the oats!Very easy and a fabulous Fall recipe. Serves a big crowd. THANK YOU for the recipe.
