Donut Muffins

THESE MUFFINS WERE AWFUL if you follow the recipe to a T. We did however really LOVE the flavor of the muffins WITHOUT all the butter and cinnamon sugar mixure. To eat these first thing in the morning will give you a sugar high for DAYS!!!!! No one in my family liked these with the topping, but loved them plain! Plus look at it this way, your saving yourself a LOAD of calories and sugar by eliminating it. I give it 3 stars because we did enjoy the muffins, just not the donut part. Still trying to figure out how everyone could eat more than one.

Amish White Bread

LOVE this bread. I have tried bread before unsuccessfully even in a bread machine, BUT this recipe is fool proof. I didn't have to add quite as much flour bc it was elastic and smooth with 4.5 cups. I pulled some out and made dinner rolls and still had enough left over for two loaves. HOWEVER, I did drop the sugar down to 1/4 C. And accidentally let it rise the first time about 2 hours. I also used an egg-wash before baking to get that beautiful golden color on top. Still with these differences, the bread baked up fine and is pretty much gone as soon as it came out of the oven.

Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy

We loved this recipe!! My husband isn't a fan of chicken at all, but we are adding this to our monthly meal plan. I took the chicken breasts and split them in half length wise and they cooked faster. The only thing about the recipe in general is I felt the chicken was moist enough and flavorful enough we didn't need to even use the gravy, so we wasted it. I wont make the gravy again.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This is THE BEST zucchini bread recipe. I made it once this summer and now Im making it every week. I've also made it in 9x13 pan, muffins, and regular loafs. I then wrapped up in cling wrap then in foil and freeze them. Truly delicious.. I can eat a loaf in one day!!!
