Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
I made this for supper last night and we loved it! Boneless pork tenderloin was on sale, so I managed to get two for about $7 at my local Sobeys store. I rubbed the meat with salt, pepper and a bit of garlic powder and placed them in the slow cooker. I used a bottle of Jones' root beer as it's sweetened with cane sugar. I set the slow cooker on low for exactly 5 hours, then drained the liquid, shredded the pork and added in a bottle of BBQ sauce. I used the "No Limits" BBQ sauce, which Sobeys introduced this year. Has a nice flavour to it. Set the crock back on low for an hour and it turned out perfectly! It made A LOT of meat since I used two tenderloins, so tonight we're using the leftovers for Pulled Pork tacos! Thanks for a great recipe! :)

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are AWESOME! My family loved them! I followed the advice of others and increased the vanilla to 2 tsp and decreased the salt to 1/2 tsp. I also baked the cookies at 350 until the edges were browned and let them sit on the baking sheets for about 10 minutes after removing them from the oven. Perfection! I'll never use another chocolate chip cookie recipe!!

Marble Squares I
I don't know WHAT happened with this recipe - I followed it exactly, and just wound up with a mushy, bubbly mess. I let it bake for as long as I could without burning it, but it was like there was way to much butter (I actually used 1 cup of margarine). Perhaps if I had cut it back to 1/2 cup, or even added an extra cup of flour, it would have turned out. Very disappointing
