Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Loved the coating so much that we sometimes just use that for fried chicken. And the recipe for the hot sauce is great!! Two thumbs up!

Beef Goulash Soup

I loved this recipe. I even told all my friends about it immediately. I use less meat than called for because we are not big meat eaters, but otherwise, I made it exactly as is.

Classic Fish and Chips

This recipe worked perfectly for me. I think the key with the soggy batter is keeping the temperature at the right level. Mine were perfectly crisp and yummy and stayed that way long after coming out of the oil. We also had leftovers which I reheated int he oven the following day and those crisped right back up as well.

I make this recipe into muffins and my kids eat them happily every morning for breakfast. Anything that makes my mornings go more smoothly makes me happy! And they taste wonderful too.

Apple Cake V

This cake was a huge hit with my friends. I did try and add more apple than it called for and made the cake very crumbly. Stick with the amount it calls for and cut them in nice small pieces.

Red Velvet Cake IV

I have been using this recipe for many years - scaled down to fit 2 pans. When I make it here at home in Switzerland it turns out amazing (although I add more cocoa), but when I made this recipe in Canada, it turned out terrible. The cake was dry and the icing was horrid. I don't know what the reason is, but here at home in Switzerland, it has become our "family birthday" cake. We love it!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

I followed other people' suggestions and used 2/3 milk, 1/3 water for the liquid. The pie was delicious. My only suggestion is that it should be made the day before you want to eat it. On the second day, the texture and taste was so much better. Lovely recipe!

Tastes just like I remember all those years ago. Thinly slice the meat and fry it in a pan to crisp/warm it before eating and then run the pita quickly under water and throw into the hot pan for a few seconds to soften it.
