Cream Cheese Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
This recipe is sooooo good! After reading the other reviews, I did change the cream cheese to 8 oz and I reduced the flour to 2 cups. Knowing the I was going to be putting chocolate on the top, I added some orange oil to the dough. Great cookies!

I have used this recipe for a long time now...pretty much for every holiday, and everyone always loves it! It's the only green bean casserole recipe I will use!

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2006
I made these muffins this time last year for a chuch bake sale, and they sold out. I ended up making several batches and using the big Texas-style muffin tins. They came out so big and beautiful. I am making them again this week for another bake sale that is on Saturday (I actually had someone disappointed at a sale a few months ago because I hadn't made them!)

These were really, really good! I was expecting them to have a little more of a punch, but they still were pretty yummy! Not to mention SO EASY to make!

Michelle's Soft Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
I love this recipe! I did have to add some more flour before I refrigerated them, but other than that, they were perfect. I made cut outs with the dough and frosted them; they were out of this world. Thanks, Michelle!

Sweetened Popcorn

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2005
I thought this was a pretty good base recipe. I used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar, and added 3/4 tsp of salt. I did also use more than 6 cups of popcorn.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
What a great recipe! I used 99% lean ground turkey and Italian style bread crumbs, and I added 1 1/2 tsp of lemon juice to the sauce. Very, very good!

Chili I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2005
After reading the combination of ingredients, I couldn't help but try this recipe! I don't like a lot of spice, so I didn't add the peppers or cayenne pepper, but did add an extra tablespoon of chili powder. I was also too cheap to buy ground coriander ($5 a jar!) so I replaced it with celery salt. This recipe is very good!

Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
This recipe was ok...I think it was better as a left over. I like to make one dish meals, so I put a layer of ground beef on top of the potatoes, and then topped it with the soup mixture. It tasted a lot like Hamburger Helper Cheesy Hash Brown; at least with that it only takes 20 minutes...I was expecting a lot better results with this recipe for almost two hours of cooking!
