High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

well... Im among the people who this didn't work for... I like one ladys idea of taking the roast out of the fridge a bit early and letting it warm up a bit. I might try it again that way because I really like the idea of using less energy to cook it. Maybe it works in only certain kinds of ovens? I followed the recipe exactly but when I opened the oven the oven was cold and the roast was cool, I moved it to the cutting board with my bear hands. When I cut it open it was too rare and I like rare meat. I reheated the oven to 500 and then put my lid on my pot and poped it back in turned the heat down to 475 and cooked it for another 20 min. It was done perfect on the inside after this but tough and overdone on the outside. Also we used a bit of salt on our slices because we like it that way.

my husband is Indian and this just didn't have enough "kick" for us. If you like it mild then it should be good for you.

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

turned out tooooo hot for me (I followed the recipe exactly but it was very very hot, even my husban who is from India said it would be to hot when he tasted it), I ended up opening a can of enchilada sauce. sorry.

Indian Cauliflower

I don't know how to rate this because I changed it so much I couldn't really say that I made this recipe. If you are used to real Indian food you'll need to add spices (a lot)

these were great, I almost didn't make them because of the bad reviews but my daughter begged me to make them so I did. I'm so glad I made them because they were wonderful and everybody loved them.

Easy Corn Chowder I

I did it without bacon (to make it vegie) and used olive oil to fry the onions. It turned out good.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

this was good, for texture I mashed only half of the beans, for flavor I used the liquid in the can instead of water and left out the mustard (because I don't like it).
