Baked Sweet Potatoes with Ginger and Honey

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2004
Not what I was expecting. I think that it has too much ginger, which over powers the end product. Don't plan on using this recipe again.

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2004
Not what I was expecting. I'm not sure what it is, maybe too much spice or the texture. I ended up sending all 26 muffins to work with my husband. Don't plan on using this recipe again.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2004
This turned out to be the most tender & juicy turkey that I have ever tasted. The meat just fell from the bone, was very fast and easy to clean up and put away after cooking. Although I did not make gravy this time around, it did leave plenty of juices in the pan for those who do plan on making gravy or soup. I will be sure to do that the next time I use this recipe for the upcoming holidays. Great recipe!

Steak Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2004
Just finished making this recipe and it turned out wonderful! Very tasty and the house smells great. For the meat, I bought a package of fresh beef pieces for stir fry. Also, I used brown rice and added broccoli. Took about 35 - 40 minutes from start to finish.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2004
Very easy to make. This turned out to be similar to a blueberry coffe cake. Pretty tasty. I used 1/4 cup butter instead of shortening and also ended up cooking it for about 45 minutes.

Pumpkin Bread III

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
This is a great recipe for the fall time. I just made this and my husband loves it! The only thing that I changed was using olive oil instead of vegetable oil. It made quite a bit of bread, so I might send a loaf with my husband to work. Enjoy!

Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2004
Tasty recipe, but if you are watching what you eat, this has a little too much butter then I like. Maybe using olive oil as a substitute. Otherwise, my husband and I thought that it was a good meal. He compared it to chicken ala king. Think that it would taste good over toast. Might add carrots next time.

Hot Chicken Salad II

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2004
Don't think that I will use this recipe again. It had a alright taste, but the celery was too crunchy and the recipe was just like eating cut up pieces of flavored chicken. Needed more of something to make it a salad.
