This was fairly tasty, but one of its best features is how visually appealing it is, with the various colors. I made it almost exactly as written. My can of apricot halves ("in heavy syrup") was a tad larger at 15.25 oz. For the beef, about 1/3 of it was some top round I had in the freezer, and the rest was some fresh bottom round; it totaled about 3 ounces more than the recipe specified. The recipe is pretty quick and easy to prepare, and makes a lot - it lasted me for three fairly big dinners, served over some "Texmati" rice. It's not fabulous, but for the looks, ease, and yield this is well worth recommending.
