Chorizo and Lentil Stew
Great flavor, but I made a few modifications. I sauteed chopped onions with the garlic before adding the chorizo. I also added chopped carrots, turnip, potatoes, and leeks along with the celery. Since I added all these extras, I upped the water by another cup and added some chicken bouillon to add more flavor. This definitely made it more "stew" like. So great to eat on a cold day!

Ground Pork Omelet
So easy and delicious! I sauteed some sliced onions and garlic in the pan before I added the egg mixture. Wonderful with chili sauce on the side. I used about half the recommended amount of fish sauce so it wouldn't be too salty.

Eggplant Caviar
it was missing something in flavor. Also, I baked for 10 minutes on each side and when I cut it open, it wasn't cooked in the middle, so I baked longer, but still--it was hard to scoop out the insides and the texture wasn't quite as smooth as I would have hoped.
