Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Surprisingly good! I had a bunch of broccoli, that I decided to cook instead of eat raw for the first time. My husband and 3 year old both loved it too. This is a keeper, thanks!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
Yum! I followed others' advice and cooked my sauce on the stove and added some cornstarch. My husband and 3 year old loved them! Thanks!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
I'll never look for another key lime pie recipe. This was perfect! I followed the recipe exactly. Thanks to the users that suggested juicing the key limes with a garlic press. I also heated them in the microwave for about 30 seconds, and they juiced much easier.

Mmmmm... Tasted like pumpkin bread with syrup! This will definitely be a fall treat for my family.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
Very good! I was scared of cooking the meatballs in the sauce also, but they turned out great and added a nice flavor. I'm sure it's not nearly as healthy as cooking them separately, but it sure was easier!

So yummy and easy. I make this during the week quite often. It's a great meal to bring people also.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
I hate meatloaf, but this is delicious! My husband doesn't really like the sweetness, so I use a little less brown sugar and chili sauce instead of ketchup. I also top it with chili sauce and add a little worcestershire sauce to the meat.

Sour Cream Chicken Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Yummy! I was a little nervous about the nutmeg, so I left it out also. I agree with another reviewer that this is really good the next day. I added shredded cheese, heated it up just a little, and topped it with sour cream. It made a delicious lunch!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
This was my first apple crisp with oats, and I guess I'm not a fan of it baked this way. I'll stick with my mom's recipe that I grew up with from now on.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
I'm not much of a meatloaf person, but this was pretty good. I loved the addition of steak sauce, but didn't like the flavor from the onion soup. It tasted really overpowering.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
Now I know why this is the highest rated recipe on Allrecipes. The muffins are quick and easy, but look like you've spent a lot of time on them. I'm not much of a baker, but I love that every ingredient is something you always have on hand. And best of all is that they are delicious!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
I don't know what I did wrong, but this was not nearly as good as I expected. It wasn't terrible, but I won't make it again. It was too creamy and not very spicy.

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2005
This was not as spicy as I thought it would be, and I could not taste flavor from the beer. I believe the cooking times were a little off also, because the corn was not done. I'll be looking for another recipe.

Au Gratin Potatoes II

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2005
I thought this was OK. My husband loved it though. I think it should have been a bit cheesier. The only change that I made was using Ritz crackers instead of cornflakes and added salt and Italian seasoning .

Hearty Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
Wonderful! This is better than at a sub shop! It was very easy and not much cleanup. I made meatballs and reduced cooking time to 30 min. Last 10 minutes I drained grease and cooked with spaghetti sauce. Served with provolone instead of mozzarella.

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2005
I just came back from the Cayman Islands with a craving for rum cake, especially after having all the different types on the island. I can honestly say that this version tops any rum cake I had on the island! I followed the recipe exactly, but didn't use any nuts. I also used skewers to poke holes in the bottom of the cake to drizzle the sauce. The first day it tasted great, but the next two days were even better. Make this one a day ahead!
