Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
I was a little apprehensive about cooking meatloaf in the slow cooker, but this was really good. I followed the recipe exactly except I left out the mushrooms (because I don't like them). It was a hit with the family and I loved that it came out cooked all the way through without being burnt or well-done at the top. It was cooked evenly through out the meat loaf. This is definitely going in the rotation! Thanks for a great recipe.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
I just made this and it is DELICIOUS! I don't even like macaroni salad but this tastes very different than traditional macaroni salad. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
This is a fantastic recipe. I followed it exactly with the exception of omitting the salt and pepper as I felt it didn't really need it. It was a big hit. My husband said it was my best spaghetti sauce yet! I did brown everything in a large skillet first and drained the excess fat off. It was absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Summer Squash Casserole with Nuts

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
This was a very good recipe. Unfortunately, in our house I am the only one who likes squash...so no else cared for it. But I thought the presentation was great (it's not very soupy, which I like.) It tasted good but you could definately taste the mayo. Very good recipe.

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
I followed this recipe exactly and I really liked the soup when I first ate it. However, I think it got too thick over time and my husband did not care for it at all. Next time I will make it thinner by using more milk. I thought the flavor was really good though just a little too thick.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
This was a very good recipe. I only had 2 eggs instead of 3, and I used (3) 8x4 loaf pans instead of (4) 7x3. I also omitted the nuts due to allergies. I also baked it for about 1 hr 30 min on 300. They turned out so TASTY! I have found a new Banana Bread recipe! THANKS!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
I really didn't like these...the dough was very hard to get to come together (I followed the recipe to the letter-and the dough was very dry). It took them at least 30 min to bake and they are very dough/cake like.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2005
These were delicious! I made them the first time with ground turkey and they were very good. I only used 1 lb of meat but the full amount of sauce and it was perfect. I served them over rice for dinner and we ate meatball sandwiches the next day. Highly recommend this recipe. Thanks, Lana!

Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2004
I did not really like this recipe and think it took too long to cook. My squash was still very stringy and not very soft and I cooked it 1 hr and 15 min total. I like the microwave recipe better.

Nana's Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2004
This is a wonderful, quick way to make acorn squash and unlike the conventional way, I think the squash came out softer. I will definately use this recipe again.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2004
I don't normally like asparagus, and neither does my husband, but this recipe changed our mind. It was very good, but I think next time I will use less butter. Will definately use again!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2004
Very good recipe, I used half of the butter (1/2 stick or 1/4 cup) and it was still buttery enough. My husband said it was very good, much better than shake n bake. Will definately make again!

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
This recipe was very good, but the middle of the bread never fully cooked for me. I even cooked it 10 more min but the middle still seemed raw. Otherwise it was tasty though.

Garlic Green Beans

At first it seemed like a lot of garlic, so I used half the amount and used fresh instead of canned green beans. This recipe was delicious and a definate make again! Highly recommended! Thanks.

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2004
The chicken came out perfectly cooked, but we really didn't like the taste that much. Though this could have been b/c I used teriaki grill mates instead of regular teriaki and didn't use bacon bits. It was good, but I don't think I'll make it again.
