Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2006
This seemed too simple and easy to be good but we were pleasantly surprised. There's not much to it, but it's an easy meal to make and very flavorful.

This was so good...like a very rich banana bread. Good for dessert or as a coffee cake in the morning.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
We really liked these but with a few changes. I decreased the ketchup and added a can of tomato paste, added 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce and a dash of red pepper. The sloppiness was just right and they tasted great, much better than the canned stuff.

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
Wonderful recipe. I didn't have any fish sauce, but it was so good without it, I think I'll leave it off next time too. So, so good...

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
This was so good...like chicken parmesan with a really big kick. I even added a little extra red pepper since we like things really spicy. I'll definitely be making this again, and soon.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
This is great if you follow all the other reviewers’ suggestions...double the sauce and add fresh garlic and plenty of spices, and mix in some bread crumbs with the parmesan cheese mixture. I skipped the green onion and used yellow onion instead. It isn't pretty, but it sure is tasty.

Absolutely the BEST Rich and Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Ever!

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
This was awesome! I didn't have buttermilk, so I just mixed the vinegar into the milk first and let it sit for about 15 minutes to thicken. I won't be buying dressing in the jar anymore.

The Best Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
The perfect meatballs...we really loved these. I made spaghetti for myself and my husband had a meatball sub. Only change I made was to add a bit of oregano along with the parsley.

Awesome Korean Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
I had been looking for a good Bulgogi recipe for a long time and this is it. I had the butcher slice the meat really thin to save me a lot of time and I marinated it for 24+ hours. I served it with rice and stir fried broccoli...so, so delicious.

Wonderful comfort food. This will be in the regular rotation at our house...so, so good. I didn't have any breadcrumbs so I substituted crushed Ritz crackers, made a nice crunchy topping.

These were awesome! I didn't have any cornmeal but they turned out fine without it...I cooked them in sesame oil and made some pineapple chutney to go with them. So delicious!

Simple Sicilian Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
I love the versatility of this recipe. You can add all kinds of extras to suit your taste. I mixed in a pinch of sugar and some roasted garlic...everyone loved it. To the reviewer who complained that the oil and vinegar kept separating, some basic chemistry lessons may be in order.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2006
This was awesome. The flavor is definitely strong, but we like it that way. It makes plenty of sauce so it was perfect served over angel hair pasta. This will be a regular on our table.

This was awesome...I couldn't believe how moist the chicken turned out. The garlic flavor is really delicious, even after only marinating it for two hours.
