Absolutely the BEST Rich and Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Ever!

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
This was awesome! I didn't have buttermilk, so I just mixed the vinegar into the milk first and let it sit for about 15 minutes to thicken. I won't be buying dressing in the jar anymore.

Favorite Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2006
Since it's freezing outside, I decided not to grill, but baked the chicken instead. I just put the chicken pieces in a baking dish and covered them with sauce. I also added one tablespoon of prepared mustard to the sauce as well. I won't be going back to the bottled stuff again, this sauce was delicious.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Very good, very easy...we really enjoyed this one. The only change I made was to add some capers along with the lemon...so yummy.

Fantastic Lemon Butter Fillet

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2005
I wrapped salmon, topped with this sauce, in foil packets and baked them. I omitted the lemon pepper and placed lemon slices on top of the fish instead. It was delicious! My husband is picky about fish and he really enjoyed this recipe.

One Minute Chocolate Icing

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2006
Gooey and delicious. I don't think I would attempt to spread this frosting on a cake as it's very sticky and thick...but it was perfect poured, warm over a cake. It sets up nice once it cools.

Funnel Cakes IV

Good when you're feeling nostalgic...though I don't remember them being so crispy at Six Flags. Since making these I tried "Funnel Cakes I" from this site, and they were much more authentic.

Delicious Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2005
This turned out great. It reminded me of the bread served at my favorite Italian restaurant. Definitely use fresh rosemary if you can, it makes all the difference.

Good Ol' Alabama Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
This makes authentic, southern iced tea...so authentic I had to cut the sugar down to one cup. For the best results, use Luzianne brand tea bags and add a wedge of lemon.

So good...a nice twist on plain old broccoli. A quick and easy way to add some delicious color to your plate.

Buttermilk Seed Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
Everyone loved this bread. It was great toasted with just a little butter, so warm and chewy. I didn't have any flax or poppy seeds, so I just doubled up on the sunflower and sesame seeds. I also brushed the tops with a little milk and sprinkled on some rolled oats before baking. Delicious!

This was just awesome. They were easy to make, looked great and tasted even better. With a little scoop of vanilla ice cream, it makes the perfect fall dessert.

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

If you want this dish to really stand out, use fresh herbs. It made such a huge difference and really wonderful gravy. Can't wait to make it again.

Rye Beer Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
I loved this bread. Very dense and chewy, and it makes an excellent Reuben sandwich. I used Heineken, but next time I think I'll try a stronger beer like Warsteiner. I also added an extra tablespoon of caraway seeds.

Skillet Herbed Chicken with Mustard

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
Didn't love it, might be better if the chicken was browned first instead of just being "poached" in wine. Probably won't try this one again.

Brazilian Chicken with Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2005
This was a nice change. It's incredibly spicy, which suited our tastes just fine. Next time I think I'll simmer the chicken in the sauce for a bit so it can soak up some of the flavors.

Lemon Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2005
This was so good. I used three boneless chicken breasts (add 10-15 minutes to the cooking time) and doubled the sauce. I didn't have any lemon pepper on hand, but the lemon juice and zest was more than sufficient to flavor the meat, just add some black pepper. I also added plenty of fresh garlic to the pan with the butter. With all that sauce it was wonderful served over pasta.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Nice and simple, but full of flavor. Cooking the fish inside foil packets helps to really seal in the moisture and flavor.

Southern Potato Salad

Good recipe. We don't care for celery so I left that out. It was delicious served warm and as cold leftovers the next day. Will definitely be making this classic recipe again.
