Orange Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
Delicious! I live in Japan in the middle of nowhere and couldn't get a hold of chow mein noodles, but it was just as good served over plain rice. I added a bit of ginger to the sauce and a little more garlic, I also tossed the chicken in flour before frying to make it a little crisp on the outside. Reminded me of the Orange chicken I used to get at the Chinese restaurants back home. This will definitely be a regular on our table.

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
This dressing is awesome. Perfect as is or add a little pepper. We live in Japan where a good dressing is hard to find. I served it as a dip with some chicken fingers and my husband loved it, just like we remember from our favorite restaurant back home.

Really good fajitas! Added a squeeze of lemon and some cumin as suggested by another reviewer, and some red pepper flakes to give it more heat. Served with Mexican Rice II from the site, it made a really delicious meal.

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2005
Great recipe. I used panko bread crumbs to coat and tossed the fingers in buffalo wing sauce when they were just out of the oven. A nice change from greasy restaurant hot wings.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
Delicious recipe. We like a "firmer" meatball, so I baked them and added them to the sauce just before serving. This will become a regular on our table.

Okay recipe. I will probably double the sauce next time since the pasta was a bit dry.

Fantastic Lemon Butter Fillet

I wrapped salmon, topped with this sauce, in foil packets and baked them. I omitted the lemon pepper and placed lemon slices on top of the fish instead. It was delicious! My husband is picky about fish and he really enjoyed this recipe.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2005
These were great. Like others suggested, I let mine rise for a good bit longer, around and hour. It makes a very dense bun that held up well to a juicy burger. These will be replacing store bought buns whenever I have the time.

Southern Potato Salad

Good recipe. We don't care for celery so I left that out. It was delicious served warm and as cold leftovers the next day. Will definitely be making this classic recipe again.

This recipe is awesome! I took some of the advice of other reviewers and it turned out great. Doubled the sauce, dredged the chicken in flour before cooking and added parmesan cheese to the sauce. This dish will be a regular at our house.

Roasted Garlic Peppercorn Sauce

What a delicious sauce! I didn't have any nutmeg, but it still turned out wonderful. I served it over linguine with some Cajun grilled chicken. A very versatile sauce...next time we'll try it with salmon.
